A very large number of things made me feel self-conscious growing up. While it was easy enough to fix many of them, my feet remained as large and in charge as ever. Of course, it didn’t help that many shoe stores at the time didn’t offer cute shoes for girls with bigger-than-average-size feet. We’re not all a size 7! Even when I did see a miraculous size 10, it was matronly and well ... what hip and happening woman wants to rock a heel that the principal in Matilda would’ve worn? Exactly.
Thankfully women’s shoes have become more inclusive. Women with big feet no longer have to settle when it comes to footwear, because there are a number of stores that offer larger shoe sizes, so that we can rock more than just a pair of sneakers (but I'm literally so glad sneakers with dresses are so hot right now). Heels, wedges, and more are waiting to be had, my big-footed sisters!
Lace Ankle Wedges ($38.43, Torrid)
Torrid wasn't just a gift for plus-size women, but women with big feet. They offer not only larger sizes, but wider ones that provide comfort as well. So you can look cute and be free of pain in these adorbs lace wedges. ($38.43, Torrid)
Strappy Heel ($65, Long Tall Sally)
Maybe I wouldn't have worn Vans to prom if I'd had a pair of these hot heels to rock. ($65, Long Tall Sally)
Tall Sandals ($49, Lonia Shoes)
Lonia caters to women with big feet. Their shoes go up to size 15, including these tall sandals that'll have you feeling all types of fierce. ($49, Lonia Shoes)
Polka Dot Slingback ($39.67, Torrid)
Perfect for any season. The polka dots are playful for the summer months, while the color gives off a brisk fall day vibe. ($39.67, Torrid)
Tie-Up Heels ($48, ASOS)
