Matt and Sarah Crain got married on September 10 and had a regular wedding like anyone else, with one exception: They were attended by a litter of rescue puppies on their big day, caught on camera by photographer Caroline Logan.

The couple initially bonded over their passion for dogs and figured, hey, why not celebrate their love for each other with the thing that brought them together in the first place?

The Crains were married at Moonstone Manor in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania.

The joyful occasion was made even more so thanks to a host of puppies from Pitties Love Peace, a pitbull rescue non-profit.

Sarah serves as a board member for the organization.

The bridesmaids did still have traditional bouquets, but puppies are so much cuter, don't you think?

"Animals are just a huge, huge part of our life," Sarah told BuzzFeed, "and we wanted to find ways to incorporate them" into the wedding.

The majority of the puppies are Boxer-Coonhound mixes; the one Sarah held is a pitbull.

Sarah and Matt already have three rescues of their own at home.

The groomsmen got to play with their fluffy, wedding counterparts as well.

You can just see "the pure joy in everyone’s faces when they’re holding a puppy," Sarah told BuzzFeed.

The Boxer-Coonhound puppies were each named after the original five First Ladies: Martha, Abigail, Dolley, Elizabeth, and Louisa, according to Metro.co.uk.

The pitbull puppy was rescued from Brooklyn. He earned the name Biggie Smalls.

"The bridesmaids were gushing about how cute they were," photographer Caroline Logan told Metro.co.uk. "It was a dream for everyone!"

And of course, even the wedding cake was a nod to this pawsome wedding.
