Lili Reinhart has just been cast as the new face of Covergirl. The Riverdale and Hustlers star joins the Covergirl fam, which includes Issa Rae, Nura Afia, and Maye Musk. Reinhart announced the partnership in a breathtaking photo on Instagram. And as a newfound makeup guru, she did her own makeup in the image! Now that's skill. Reinhart, can I hire you to be my personal Glamsquad? Because she looks that easy, breezy, and beautiful.

*Extreme Nickleback voice* LOOK AT THIS PHOTOGRAPHHHH

"Meet your newest @COVERGIRL," wrote Reinhart on Instagram. "I am pinching myself at the opportunity to represent such an iconic makeup brand and be the face of their newest line, coming very soon."

Can you hear the melody to "Take My Breath Away" by Berlin playing? Because I can. SWOON.

Reinhart said her goal in the campaign was "self-acceptance."

"As a COVERGIRL, my goal is to advocate for confidence & self-acceptance in a world where so many young men and women feel compelled to change themselves," she continued on Instagram. It's a goal we can absolutely get behind.

She did her own makeup for the Covergirl photo shoot, which is way braver than I would have been.

Reinhart did her own makeup on the Riverdale season 3 set, so she's obviously got some skills as a MUA. Reinhart wrote an essay for Refinery29, explaining that she has cystic acne and has learned to apply makeup with her skin, as opposed to against it. "I know my skin better than anyone else and I know what works," she said.

(Disclosure: I am a Refinery29 contributor.)

Reinhart also genuinely loves makeup!

Reinhart's Covergirl partnership is also about her love of makeup. "Since I was 13, makeup has been an incredible source of confidence for me and a tool that can be used to enhance the natural beauty that exists in all of us," she told Allure.

True story: I was first allowed to wear makeup at age 13, and my first purchase was Covergirl foundation, so her words are speeeeaking to me.

Naturally, her boyfriend Cole Sprouse had the best way to say congrats.

Cole Sprouse, ever the jokester, commented on Reinhart's announcement photo on Instagram, writing "A little jealous they didn’t offer me this campaign, tbh." Sprouse, don't be jelly. You have more than enough opportunities to take artsy, dreamy photos of your babe.
