One beauty brand that truly lives up to its mission is Lush. The natural skin-care and makeup retailer, which is all about environmentalism, is every tree hugger's favorite go-to. Approaching the Global Climate Strike, Lush has announced that it will be closing all its production. That means 250 stores, every single one of its factories, the Lush headquarters, and e-commerce site will all shutter so that its staff can take to the streets to march for the betterment of our world.

Check out how you can join the movement ahead.

So they're taking a giant step in the name of climate change.

The brand will be shutting down all of its stores on September 20 and September 27 for a global climate strike. "Inspired by @gretathunberg and all the youth preparing for the Global Climate Strikes, Lush will be marching on September 20th in the U.S. and September 27th in Canada to support the demands of youth strikers.

We will close our operations so that our 5,000 staff across North America in retail, manufacturing distribution and e-commerce can be in the streets to demand immediate action from global leaders to address the climate crisis. In the words of Greta, “Activism works. So act!”

We hope you will join us. Visit our link in bio to find a march near you," the brand wrote on its Instagram page.

But would we really expect anything else from Lush?

“As a business with deep roots in environmental activism, giving our thousands of staff the time to get out there and demand bold action is a no brainer. We all share this planet, so we need to band together to sound the alarm and show our politicians that ‘business as usual’ is no longer an option. The climate crisis won’t wait, and neither will we," Mark Wolverton, President and CEO of Lush Cosmetics North America said on Lush's website.

Lush is all about saving the environment.

The UK-founded brand has built its massive empire on a love for skin care, aromatic scents, and saving the environment. From its reusable packaging to natural ingredients, Lush is the completely unproblematic brand that skin-care lovers and environmentalists deserve.

So how can you get involved?
