Tarte's Shape Tape Contour Concealer ($24, Ulta) is the definition of a Holy Grail beauty product — seriously beloved, and insanely difficult to get your hands on.

The creamy, easy to blend concealer is an Ulta exclusive product, and because it's SO popular, it sells out in stores and online almost immediately. One of our editors has been trying to buy her shade for nearly a year, and it's always sold out.

If you've been wishin', hopin', and prayin' for even more totally matte, totally creaseless complexion products in your life, I have wonderful news: A Shape Tape foundation is OFFICIALLY coming... and only we have all the details.

Tarte has been teasing a RUMORED Shape Tape family expansion for a solid year now — and they've been using yr favorite influencers to spread the (sneaky) word.

Take Kathleen Fuentes, aka Kathleen Lights. She was one of the first vloggers to review the concealer, and "Kathleen Lights" is often a top search result for Shape Tape, according to Google.

This time last year, Kathleen asked the brand if they'd consider expanding the Shape Tape family to include a line of foundation.

And Tarte said HECK YEAH.

At first, fans were like...

But after a full year of no official news, the mood changed to...

BUT THEN! Just when Shape Tape hope was fading, Tarte went ahead and dropped this beautiful bombshell. Foundation is back ON, people!

Per the caption, "Are you ready to shape what your momma gave ya in 2018?"

At first, fans thought this was just a standard tease video of the Shape Tape concealer wands... but those caps are WAY too short and thick, and the applicators far too long.

Oh yeah. This is your first look at the FOUNDATION.

We also know a little bit more about what a Shape Tape foundation line will actually be like — and when we can expect to get our hot little hands on it.

Per the brand, the "mysterious new product" will be available at Ulta and Tarte.com in 2018 — and like the Shape Tape concealer, this foundation will likely be an Ulta/Tarte exclusive. Sorry, Sephora addicts.

This expansion into foundation may also mean that more IRL stores will carry the line. I don't know if you guys have ever gone out hunting for this, but it can be HARD to find an Ulta store that carries the full 14-shade Shape Tape concealer line. A coordinating foundation range could potentially change all that.

And this may be wishful thinking, but PERHAPS this means Tarte will expand its shade selection. Shape Tape is great, and EVERYONE should be able to find a shade that matches their skin tone — 14 shades in the age of Fenty Beauty kinda won't cut it anymore.

All we can do is wait and see — and watch Tarte HEAVILY promote influencers who are into Shape Tape.

Come on, Tarte — give us more details! We're dying over here!

This release honestly can't come quickly enough.
