H&M's sizing is... weird, to put it lightly. The brand has been in hot water lately, largely due to its inconsistent and unrealistic sizing.

With a single photo, this UK shopper made a case for just how fucked up H&M's sizing is.

Samantha Bell put a pair of H&M jeans in a UK size 16 (US size 12) over a pair from Primark in the same size and skinny fit and snapped a pic. The difference is all of five and a half inches, which is MASSIVE.

She shared the photo in a body-positive Facebook group, "Free to be OK with me," and it went viral.

Bell used her hand as reference to show just how big the difference is.

In response to the now-viral post and tweet, H&M offered a non-response:

"Our dedicated, in-house sizing department works according to an average of the sizes and measurements suggested by the markets we operate in," a representative told Business Insider. "H&M sizes are continually reviewed by our in-house sizing department."

The company has had a nearly identical response for every size controversy it's been involved in, so there hasn't exactly been progress.

Naturally, Twitter wasn't having it.

Others complained of similar experiences.

Someone even pointed out that the sizing isn't even the worst part of H&M.

Those fitting rooms are THE. WORST.

It's about time H&M actually thought about restructuring its sizing. It's not an isolated issue, and a prepackaged response just won't do.
