As a style blogger and fashion reporter, I'm always looking for that new accessory that will make me stand out in a crowd.

I have worn almost everything at this point. I needed something big, something that would announce me as I walked into a room. Duh, I needed a tiara. You laugh, sure, but flower crowns are huge in the summer months. Why not a tiara? It's the next logical step.

So, I bought a tiara and wore it EVERYWHERE for a week.

Here's what happened.

DAY 1: My first look was inspired by Audrey Hepburn's famous scene in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" — except for the pizza, of course.

I won't lie and say I wasn't nervous about wearing a bedazzled crown around New York, but as I quickly learned, it takes a lot to stop busy New Yorkers in their tracks. No one even batted an eyelash over my bling.

My coworkers noticed the crown immediately. One of them asked if it was my birthday and I was like, "Nope. Journalism."

When you're wearing a crown, you need glamorous shades. These are from Oliver Peoples.

DAY 2: After paying tribute to Audrey Hepburn and classic New York glam, I decided to go romantic with this floral maxi that I found at a small boutique in the Bronx.

I was feelin' myself, for sure. I noticed my attitude became a little more demanding. (My brothers finally told me to calm it down a bit.)

DAY 3: My inner princess was dwindling. Wearing a tiara felt more like an obligation than an honor.

I love the romantic vibe of this dress. It's one of my favorites!

I was so exhausted with having to dress up my outfits to meet the glamour of the tiara. This must be how beauty queens feel.

DAY 4: The tiara is now a complete style blocker. I want to take it off. Is it over yet?

I got some ice cream to cheer me up. Sprinkles and bling go together like peanut butter and jelly, right?

DAY 5: FINALLY. I could not be happier to almost be done with this tiara. I had no more princess fucks left to give, so I wore all black.

Jumpsuit, Boohoo; shoes, Sole Society; bag, H&M

I've been terrified to wear this jumpsuit for years. (It sticks to every curve of my body.) But after a week in a tiara, IDGAF so I put that shit on and rocked it.

The tiara bored me to death. I wore the jumpsuit to live the thrill of doing something different. I truly believe that doing something that makes you uncomfortable helps you become stronger and more confident.

I guess wearing a tiara for a week did have an effect on me. Experiment over. Princess out!
