The idea that women have to be a certain size or shape to be included in "cool girl style" has lingered for ages. Some silhouettes and trends just aren't encouraged when you're plus.

Thanks to body positive enforcers like Beth Ditto, Tess Holliday, and Ashley Graham, there is hope for more truly cool (and fun) fat fashion in our lives.

For this week's fashion dare, I asked style bloggers Shainna Tucker and Monica Krystel Rose to be my outfit twins. The outfit? One of the most "unflattering" choices you can make, if you're going by bogus flattering fashion rules. It's a skin-tight, off-the-shoulder dress from Rebdolls. Some might call it a "skinny dress."

Here's how we rocked it.

Dress, Rebdolls; hat, street vendor; backpack, ASOS; sneakers, Adidas; choker, MD13

"I'm not a size 2 or a small. I'm size 'there's more to love,' and I think I look fine in the dress," said Rose.

"I don't believe certain body types can't wear certain things. Here's the deal: Wear what you want to wear. Don't let the idea of being perfect dictate your style."

Shainna looked amazing and walked with such confidence in her dress — it made everyone do a double take.

"In this dress, I felt like a total bombshell. It fit like a dream. This is definitely something I would wear out on a date with my guy."

Too cute for school.

As for me, my go-to look for summer will definitely be off-the shoulder dresses.

Of course I wore my favorite sunglasses. We shot these photos in New York's Bryant Park on a sunny day so I needed them!

Shoes, H&M; sunnies, RayBan.

I'm not going to lie, I was a little freaked out when I tried this dress on. The visible belly outline is visible AF. But then I realized that my body is shaped like this. Fashion over fear always.

FINAL VERDICT: We all looked amazing. Fashion is an art form and there is no wrong or right body type for it.
