In a world where women featured in television and film are almost always one size — slim — it's almost impossible to imagine seeing plus-size women represented positively in mainstream media.

One artist has made your imagination come to to life. Crystal Procknow, an artist and illustrator from Wisconsin, gives Disney princesses the body-positive makeover of our dreams — and we LOVE it.

Crystal, who is plus-size herself, has been a lifelong fan of Disney movies, but only ever saw one body type represented. So, she took to Instagram to share her plus-size versions of Disney princesses in a series she calls "chubby Disney ladies."

The "Chubby Disney ladies" series features 12 illustrations from a variety of Disney films. 

Snow White, "Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs."

Crystal says, "It's important for everyone, not just children, to see positive depictions of people like themselves." 

Moana, "Moana."

Her loving portraits are absolutely STUNNING.

But it's not just about princesses — Crystal wants to make a difference with her drawings.

Most of Crystal's art featured on her Instagram is geared toward helping people who look like her feel comfortable with themselves.
