Which "Gilmore Girls" cast members were real-life friends?

So, we know Graham and Patterson definitely weren't buds. Graham and Alexis Bledel (oh so sadly) weren't exactly tight, either. Who on this show did actively, genuinely like each other in a more-than-coworkers capacity? I'm not asking for a Rachel and Monica/Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox dynamic here, but just knowing that SOME cast members we liked went out together on weekends would put a little glow in my fangirl heart.

Speaking of on-screen friends ... what's the deal with Melissa McCarthy?

Years before Melissa McCarthy was a box-office queen, she effectively won our hearts as Sookie St. James. What was it like working with her well before her solo-star power kicked in? Were there any funny behind-the-scenes escapades with McCarthy at the helm? I want some amusing anecdotes, damnit!

What's Graham's take on how the writers destroyed — erm, I mean *handled* — Lane?

This will forever be my greatest beef with "Gilmore Girls" (unless it's somehow miraculously fixed in the revival, but that's contextually unlikely).

Following Amy Sherman-Palladino's departure for the show's final season, the writers proceeded to BUTCHER Lane's life by making her tie the knot, and knocking her up with twins. And I know I'm not the only one who thinks Lane deserved so much more — specifically, the chance to follow her musical dreams outside of sleepy Stars Hollow. Graham took on a more involved behind-the-scenes role after Sherman-Palladino left and became a producer for the last season. Thus, I'd love to know: How could she let this happen??

And, of course, we've gotta know: Did Graham date any actors on the show?

Beyond having briefly dated Matthew Perry back in 2003, and Peter Krause since 2010, not much is known about Graham's romantic life. There wasn't a shortage of attractive men on the "Gilmore Girls" set, though: Chad Michael Murray, Adam Brody, and Norman Mailer (ha), to name a few. Might we be getting some dick deets in this memoir? And, most importantly, could they be those of Jon Hamm?
