The American Music Awards had plenty of drama and lots of high-fashion moments from all of our favorite celebrities.

Lizzo, Selena Gomez, Billy Porter, Megan Thee Stallion, and more all had some incredible looks to celebrate the night. Taylor Swift was the big winner, taking home the most awards for the evening and the Artist of the Decade award. Billie Eilish, another fan favorite, nabbed two.

The performances, appearances, and some shady moments all made the awards show exciting, but the fashion was what truly made the AMAs an event to watch.

Billy Porter had on a truly magical headpiece.

The Pose star never disappoints on the red carpet, and this time he wore a Thom Browne ensemble complete with a dramatic white headpiece from Stephen Jones Millinery. Porter stepped out in support of his pal Taylor Swift. He recently appeared in her "You Need to Calm Down" music video.

People on social media were supportive of the avant-garde style that had a meaningful message. Porter captioned his Instagram post, "I’m wearing hints of red, white, and blue because I’m an American and this is what we look like."

Billie Eilish showed off her two new accolades while wearing Burberry.

The young musician took home two big awards: Favorite Alternative Rock Artist and New Artist of the Year. The 16-year-old also delivered one of the standout performances of the night with her song "All the Good Girls Go to Hell." The celebrity completed her ensemble with an over-the-top sparkly headpiece.

Camila Cabello looked like a princess on the red carpet ahead of her performance with Shawn Mendes.

The happy couple performed "Señorita" on the AMA stage and won the award for Favorite Collaboration. But Cabello looked like a real star on the red carpet with her long hair braided into a classy ponytail. The 22-year-old resembled a legit princess in her lace gown.

Selena Gomez looked chic for the awards show.

Gomez had a few ensembles for the evening, but showed up to the red carpet wearing a lime green minidress. The singer performed her two new singles and reportedly had major anxiety before taking the stage. Of course, you'd never know it from her standout performance that she was feeling stressed.

Lizzo was fire both onstage and on the red carpet.

The fan-favorite artist was snubbed at the awards show and didn't end up taking home a single award that she was nominated for. Luckily, we still got to see plenty of the body-positive icon as she sang a soulful and passionate rendition of her song "Jerome." Plus, she had two gorgeous looks — the first being a flirty peach minidress with a tiny bag and the second being a dramatic magenta ball gown with a high slit.

Taylor Swift sparkled all night long, and it wasn't just because of the glitter gown she sported.

Swift was absolutely glowing throughout the awards show, and rightfully so. Even through hardships in the past year and scandals surrounding her record label, Swift proved that she is on top. The lyricist had the best performance of the night by far and sang a slew of her music in honor of taking home the prestigious Artist of the Decade award.

Kelly Osbourne and Post Malone looked goth and edgy.

Osbourne kept up with her goth-chic vibe at the event and showed off a vibrant purple hairstyle. Meanwhile, Post Malone had on a rugged cowboy hat and a gingham power suit. "Getting toasty with posty!" Osbourne captioned the photo. The reality star's iconic dad, Ozzy Osbourne, stepped onstage with the rapper for "Take What You Want."

Halsey looked artistic as usual and tried out a bold eyebrow choice.

Bleached eyebrows is always a bold move, and not one that can be pulled off easily. Of course, Halsey looked fashion-forward and cool with the edgy style. Besides, she had plenty of color elsewhere, both in her makeup and beautiful ball gown, to compensate.

Patrick Starrr looked like an award himself in his glittering gold bodysuit.

The makeup artist and YouTube star stepped onto the red carpet in his signature dramatic style. Plus, the celebrity sported a golden bodysuit and matching turban and shoes. Keep your eyes peeled to his YouTube channel because a tutorial is coming soon.

Megan Thee Stallion was red hot in her figure-hugging gown.

Blending seamlessly into the carpet below her, newcomer Megan Thee Stallion looked absolutely stunning in a custom red crystal gown by Bryan Hearns. "ITS STILL HOT GIRL SUMMER @theestallion," Hearns captioned a photo of the musician.
