Ariana Grande broke her silence following the dissolution of her engagement to Pete Davidson. The singer will be taking a social media break so that she doesn't have to follow the news cycle surrounding the breakup.

Hopefully, the social media blackout will help Grande reconcile some of what has happened. Here's what she had to say.

Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson called it quits over the weekend (although it feels like eons ago in internet time).

Neither of them have spoken about the breakup, although Grande reportedly returned her $93,000 engagement ring and kept the pig.

The singer made her first public appearance, a pretaped rendition of "The Wizard and I," for a television special of the Broadway musical "Wicked."

Grande shared a photo of herself and Idina Menzel, who played Elphaba in the original Broadway musical. Grande will be taking over the role for television.

Grande finally broke her silence, but she only alluded to the things happening in her life.

We probably won't be seeing much from the singer for a while, as she insinuated that she's taking a break. But for celebs, those never last too long.

Grande could use some time to heal, but I look forward to the bops on the inevitable breakup album.

Meanwhile, Davidson was scheduled to appear at Temple University, but dropped out of the appearance. He was replaced with interchangeable bro Adam Devine.

I guess, Davidson will always have his Plan B.
