YouTube honored its top creators of 2019 at the ninth annual Streamy Awards, and the stars of the platform stepped out in their awards show best.
Beauty creators like Nikita Dragun and Patrick Starrr looked stunning in avant-garde styles. Meanwhile, Tana Mongeau, who won the night's top honor. Creator of the Year, looked chic and casual in an oversize sweatsuit inspired by Billie Eilish.
Novice and veteran influencers on the platform attended the awards show, and everyone looked incredible. But these 10 were some of the best dressed at the event.
Nikita Dragun wore an asymmetrical jumpsuit lined with fur.
The makeup artist and fashion maven took home the highly competitive award as the top creator in the Beauty category. Dragun was up against James Charles, Jeffree Star, Jackie Aina, and Brad Mondo, so it had to have been a close call. Regardless, she got up onstage and accepted her award with pride, looking fierce in the black ensemble.
In an Instagram post, the influencer referenced some of the drama of the past year and looked forward to a better year: "2020 is the year we get our community back to what it’s really about ... BEAUTY in all shapes, sizes, races, genders, sexual preferences, and beyond. The only DRAMA I want is on my eyes!"
Rebecca Black looked dramatic and beautiful at her first Streamys.
Black infamously went viral for her song "Friday," and since then has gone on to create more music. This year, she stopped by the Streamys to support her fellow artists on the platform. The singer looked gorgeous in a dramatic cape in an ensemble with red accents that matched the carpet below her.
Rickey Thompson thrifted his whole look and it absolutely won the red carpet.
Thompson celebrated his win in the Lifestyle category in his totally vintage 'fit. Originally starting on Vine, Thompson has garnered millions of fans and followers for his hilarious personality and incredible style. "SOOO TONIGHT I WON A STREAMY!!!!???? omg I remember I was literally here last year and was not nominated but TODAY THINGS HAVE CHANGED! What a great way to end the year," he wrote in an Instagram post.
Aliya Janell looked fierce in her beaded minidress with a spider embellishment.
Janell's barely-there dress looked so chic and cool. Also, someone explain to me how her toes look so perfect and not steamy in her see-through shoes (asking for a friend). Janell shares her choreography and dance videos to YouTube, but wasn't nominated in the category. Regardless, she looked like she was having a blast on the red carpet supporting her friends on the platform.
Brittany Tomlinson aka the Kombucha Girl handed out all of the awards for the night.
Tomlinson looked so trendy in her white boots and flare sleeves. The plaid minidress fit her perfectly, and her hair was pulled up in a cute top-knot. The newcomer to the YouTube scene went viral earlier this year as Kombucha Girl when she was hilariously apprehensive about the taste of kombucha.
