On Wednesday (July 13),  MIC dropped a video called #23WAYS in response to the recent killings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile, and it is the most powerful celebrity video we have seen in a long time.

In it, celebrities like Beyoncé, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Chance the Rapper, Taraji P. Henson and more poignantly share the ways Black Americans could — and have — died at the hands of police.

The heartbreaking video drives home how many people have lost their lives for infuriating reasons. In the clip, each celeb is shown describing an activity, ranging from laughing to walking home with a friend to selling CDs outside of a supermarket, followed by the photo of the person who was actually killed for by police for that reason.

The video sheds light on the ingrained and systemic racism that plagues this country. It's a PSA, and it's also a call for action.

Alicia Keys demands viewers go to weareheremovement.com to sign the "Moonshot: Racial Justice in America" petition to tell President Obama and Congress that

the time for change is now. We demand radical transformation to heal the long history of systemic racism so that all Americans have the equal right to live and pursue happiness.
Many of the celebrities in the video have taken to Twitter, reaching out to their own networks with links to the petition.
