Just over a month ago, I was a proud supporter of Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian's whirlwind love. It started off so innocently — Rob, the down-and-out Kardashian slash sock-entrepreneur, fell for Chyna, the stripper-turned-entrepreneur who seems devoted to helping Rob live a better life. But now that Chyna is definitely pregnant with Rob's child and the couple are in talks for their own 7-figure reality show deal, I am starting to worry that this romance is not as sincere as I once thought.

Seven weeks ago, all seemed gravy. Rob was obviously smitten with Chyna from the beginning, and vice versa. I mean, look how cute they are at Legoland California! Rob's caption on this picture he posted of Chyna screams "true love."  And of course, their perfect romance would undoubtedly cause drama with the rest of the Kardashian Klan since, as we all know, Chyna's ex-boyfriend Tyga is dating Rob's half-sister, Kylie.

This, at first, was a good thing — who doesn't love Kardashian drama?

However, on the heels of the pregnancy and spinoff show news, I suddenly suspect that this relationship is not healthy for either party involved. In fact, I am starting to feel uncomfortable about it.

Here's why:

Blac Chyna dating the brother of the girl who her ex-boyfriend dumped her for can't be an accident.

Okay, like, I get that sometimes you love who you love, even if it's awkward for your families. But something about the fact that Blac Chyna is dating Rob Kardashian, her ex-boyfriend Tyga's current girlfriend's brother, seems less like a coincidence and more like a deep-seated revenge plot.

Tyga and Kylie started to date because of Kanye. Since Kanye is married to Kim, their squads overlapped. But the only time Rob and Chyna might conceivably have hung out was when Chyna was still dating Tyga, back in 2013 or 2014 — here's Rob, Chyna, and Kim on a roller-coaster together, when Chyna was with T. Unless they stayed friends, I can't help but assume that Chyna must have hit up Rob to hang out out of the blue, knowing full-well how angry Kylie and her family would be about it later.

The "#thatllteachem" hashtag is highly suspicious.

Both Chyna and Rob have used the phrase "that'll teach 'em" on their various social media accounts since they began dating. In the picture above, Chyna captioned "That'll teach 'em" under a picture of her looking back at the camera. In a since-deleted post, Rob advertised Blac Chyna's teeth whitening strips, using the same phrase:

“Getting my grill right with my @expresssmileatlanta teeth whitening kit. Thanks, babe @blacchyna for putting me on!???? Enter code: Rob at checkout to get yours for $20 today! That’ll Teach Em!”
Both Rob and Chyna have beef with the Kardashian family — the Chyna and Kylie shade has been documented by gossip bloggers thoroughly. But it's also important to remember that there was a long period of time where Rob was ostracized from his family. Radar reports that as early as 2015, the entire family wanted to get him in rehab, and he didn't follow their suggestions.
Which only has me guessing ... does "'em" = the Kardashians?

I'm hoping Rob and Chyna's relationship is genuine, and that this hashtag means nothing more than a general "Hi, haters," but honestly, it's getting hard to ignore the nasty past.

Chyna is already changing her name to "Angela Renee Kardashian" ... for business reasons.

On Monday morning (May 9), TMZ reported that Blac Chyna will soon no longer go by her stripper name. Chyna, whose real name is Angela, filed legal papers to trademark her soon-to-be-married name, Angela Renee Kardashian, for business purposes. This means that in the very near future, Chyna will be able to market herself for profit as a real Kardashian, using the name for nightclub appearances and on her Lashed Bar products.

AGAIN — love a hustle, but can't this all wait?!? You've been dating the dude for two months, and you're already on that name change tip? I dunno ... something's sketchy.

Have either of them stopped to think about what it is they're ACTUALLY going to do?

The engagement, the baby, the name change, the reality show ... it's all happening wayyy too fast.

For someone who has a record of serial proposing — TMZ reports that Kardashian proposed to two of his ex-girlfriends, Rita Ora and Adrienne Bailon — it really makes you wonder if any of these decisions were made using logical thought from either party involved. Yes, a seven-figure reality show deal is huge. But you know what is an even bigger deal?

Getting married and starting a family.

I pray for them. I really do.
