Demi Lovato embraces her curves, but in this powerful post, she admitted that she sometimes retouches her photos to smooth out a few bumps. This time it's different. The body-positive vocalist showed off everything and was unashamed of her cellulite.

The aftermath was inspiring. Tons of Lovato's fans and followers posted their own unedited photos showing off all of their gorgeous curves and accepting their bodies for exactly how they are — unfiltered. Plus, all of the celebrity's famous friends and her family members also sent loving messages showing their support for the post.

Lovato wrote that posting an unedited photo that shows off this much of her cellulite is one of her biggest fears. Clearly the activist is ready to overcome that fear and inspire her millions of fans.

The superstar revealed she is sick of editing photos, and wants to show a raw, real version of herself.

Lovato looked unarguably stunning in her latest Instagram post. Without reading her caption, you might think this was another selfie, because she was feeling herself. But this post is so much more.

"This is my biggest fear. A photo of me in a bikini unedited. And guess what, it’s CELLULIT!!!!" Lovato wrote.

"I’m just literally sooooo tired of being ashamed of my body, editing it (yes the other bikini pics were edited — and I hate that I did that but it’s the truth) so that others think I’m THEIR idea of what beautiful is, but it’s just not me. This is what I got."

Of course, she got support from another body-positivity icon, Ashley Graham.

Ashley Graham was proud of her fellow curvy queen, and sent a loving message to Lovato after she shared the post. The singer wrote that she's starting off this next season of her life unashamed of who she is and what she looks like, and that she wants to live as authentically as possible.

"I want this new chapter in my life to be about being authentic to who I am rather than trying to meet someone else’s standards," Lovato shared in her lengthy caption. "So here’s me, unashamed, unafraid, and proud to own a body that has fought through so much and will continue to amaze me when I hopefully give birth one day."

Lovato has expressed interest in one Bachelorette contestant, Mike Johnson, who sent a flirty comment.

One of the most telling comments was done by a former Bachelorette contestant whom Lovato has expressed interest in. When Johnson was eliminated in the previous season, Lovato sent some thirsty tweets to the reality show contestant. Now it appears as if the two have taken their relationship to the next social media platform. Fans are shipping even harder now. "Look at me like that again... love yeself...," Johnson commented, and Lovato replied with a few flirty emojis.

Lovato's mom sent a loving message that proved no one can support you quite like your mama.

Lovato's proud mom wrote a supportive comment under Lovato's post. "You never have to meet ANYONE ELSES STANDARDS EVER AGAIN, YOU ARE FREE!! So FLY, Baby Girl — set the world on fire. DO IT!!"

The thousands of loving messages pouring in can't compare with her mom's adorable note.

Demi Lovato is inspiring women everywhere to embrace their curves, stretch marks, dimples, and more.

Lovato stayed real in her caption and told her followers that just because she's feeling good doesn't mean she feels perfect. "Just so everyone’s clear … I’m not stoked on my appearance BUT I am appreciative of it and sometimes that’s the best I can do."

That was enough for her followers to hear, because it definitely inspired them to feel empowered about their own bodies. "I hope to inspire someone to appreciate their body today too," Lovato concluded.

One person felt the love and tweeted, "Demi Lovato referred to her cellulite as celluLIT and that is the type of energy all of us girls need."

Lovato's post sparked a trend of unedited selfies and "belfies" from fans everywhere.

Tons of Lovato's fans shared their own unedited "belfies," or butt selfies, showing off their thighs and behinds and proudly displaying their bumps and curves. The empowered superstar is a true inspiration to all shapes and sizes of people everywhere who need a confidence boost. By facing her fear, the singer was able to make a difference in others' lives.
