It goes down in the DMs — at least when you're Demi Lovato.
In a recent interview with BBC News, Lovato opened up about her dating life.
While Lovato is the first to admit that dating as a celebrity certainly has its ups and downs (she ended her six-year relationship with Wilmer Valderrama last year), she still enjoys the thrill of talking to someone new.
(Even though sometimes it requires taking the millennial approach... )
Lovato revealed she has no shame in sliding into someone's DMs if she finds them attractive.
"If you find somebody attractive, you can just hit them up or, like, slide into their DMs and be like, 'Hey, what's going on?'" Lovato insisted.
Her tech-savvy dating strategy is about as "millennial" as it gets.
"It's kind of nice," she noted.
However, even Lovato isn't immune to shitty dates.
On her new album, "Tell Me You Love Me," Lovato talks about a negative experience she had while dating.
"Like one of the songs, 'Games.' I went on a bad date and I wrote a song about it," she confessed. "This guy just treated me really poorly, and was playing games the whole time."
But fans totally appreciate her fearlessness.
After all, one bad date isn't going to stop Lovato from sliding in those DMs.
