Gigi Hadid is in a Twitter feud

Gigi Hadid and Jake Paul just had beef on Twitter, and no, you haven't stepped into a bizarre alternate universe.

The YouTuber shaded Hadid's on-again, off-again boyfriend Zayn Malik in a now-deleted tweet. Hadid quickly stepped in to shut Paul down and drag him, which had the entire internet bowing down to the queen. The supermodel has bigger things to worry about than Paul, who has had a controversial internet history, to say the least.

Jake Paul didn't apologize for his rude remarks, but he did have an excuse: He was drunk at the time of the tweet.

Hadid did not hold back with her tweet in response to Paul's shady message to Zayn Malik.

Paul threatened Malik in a now-deleted tweet, and Hadid came back swiftly with her own dragging response. "Lol cause he doesn’t care to hang w you and your embarrassing crew of YouTube groupies ..? Home alone with his best friends like a respectful king cause he has me, sweetie. Unbothered by your irrelevant ugly [redacted]. Go to bed ...," she wrote. Drag. Him. Period.

Paul deleted his tweet, but not before one savvy Twitter follower nabbed a screenshot.

Apparently the YouTube sensation and the musician had a run-in, and Paul felt the need to go off on Twitter. He wrote, "almost had to clap up zane from 1 direction because he is a little guy and has an attitude and basically told me to [redacted] off for no reason when i was being nice to him... zane ik you're reading this... stop being angry cause u came home alone to ur big [redacted] hotel room hahaha." The tweet was totally unnecessary no matter what transpired between the two in person, and clearly Malik didn't go "home alone."

Hadid and Malik have been on and off, but this recent display seems like things are going good.

Hadid recently posted a photo of Malik to her secondary Instagram account @gisposables. The post was a sweet Valentine's Day tribute, and it seems like their relationship is back on for the moment. Obviously, it's legitimate enough for her to be sticking up for him on Twitter.

Alissa Violet, Paul's ex, chimed in.

Alissa Violet, who infamously cheated on Paul with his brother, Logan Paul, laughed at the exchange. Clearly, the Instagram celebrity and YouTuber was on the side of the model. Violet replied, "go off sis ily."

Fans were impressed by the ultimate drag.

"Gigi said ain’t nobody coming for my man. YOU TELL HIM GIRL," one fan replied to the tweet with a clapping gif. The drama was ridiculous and totally unnecessary, but we are living for Hadid's drag.

Even other YouTubers couldn't help but laugh at this exchange.

The feud was short-lived, but went viral quickly. One YouTuber, Kurtis Connor, also laughed about Hadid's response to Paul. "YOOOOOO HAHAHAHA," he tweeted.

Paul ended up calling himself out the next day. And, while it wasn't an apology by any means, it was an excuse.

Paul's lame excuse for the Twitter fight ended up being that he was drunk. He tweeted the next morning,"someone needs to take my phone when i’m drunk because I am a [redacted] idiot." Well, he's not wrong.
