Only internet trolls can turn a mom-and-son trip to the happiest place on Earth into something negative.
Earlier this week, Hilary Duff and her four-year-old son, Luca, spent an afternoon at Disneyland. The proud mom documented the fun visit in a series of photos that she uploaded to Instagram.
In one shot, Hilary gave her son a peck on the lips — and right on cue, the internet found issue with the sweet mother-son moment.
In the "offending" photo, Hilary gave Luca a quick smooch as they posed in front of a water ride.
"Happiest happiest happiest happiest happiest happiest happiest happiest place on earth!" the actress captioned the shot.
Internet trolls immediately flooded Hilary's post with nasty comments, calling the kiss "sick" and "awkward."
Fans quickly came to Hilary's defense.
But Hilary had her *own* message for the haters. She uploaded this note to Instagram a few hours later:
"For anyone commenting that a kiss on the lips with my four year old is 'inappropriate' go ahead and click a quick unfollow with your warped minds and judgment," the actress wrote.
Several moms commented on Hilary's post to show their support.
With one simple post, Hilary was able to remind her followers that there's nothing "disgusting" about kissing your own children and effectively silenced her critics.
Lesson learned. Don't mess with this mama.
