Jennifer Aniston has made a career out of playing lovable and comedic characters, like Rachel on "Friends," but now she's ready to step into a new role — playing a superhero.

The 47-year-old told Chelsea Handler on her Netflix show "Chelsea" that she wouldn't mind suiting up to play alongside the Avengers or be a mutant like one of the X-Men.

But Aniston stressed in order to do it, being uncoordinated would have to be her "superpower."

...I just — I couldn’t take myself seriously leaping out of somewhere in a full leather something.

"I don’t know what I just described. Maybe that was Halle Berry," Aniston joked. "[She] could do this for the rest of her life."

So, we guess that rules her out for playing Catwoman.

For some reason Hollywood just hasn't thought of Aniston as the cape-wearing type, even though she's expressed interest before. Back in 2014, during promo for her film "Cake," she said she would have a lot of fun playing a crime-fighting character.

"I really do want to be a superhero, too. I’ve said it! But wouldn’t that be fun,” she told The Hollywood Reporter:

I think what we really want to do is work with great people, tell great stories about extremely wonderful, complicated human beings and the human experience.

Aniston playing an older female character would bring some needed diversity into the superhero franchise and people are ready to see her save the world on the big screen.

Dear Marvel or DC, please make this a reality!
