Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas just got married in the most unexpected yet totally typical-for-them way. The happy couple had a Vegas wedding complete with an Elvis impersonator following the Jonas Brothers' stand-out performance at last night's Billboard Music Awards. 

LA DJ Diplo broke the news on his Instagram Story by posting pictures of the wedding chapel and of Turner walking down the aisle in her veil. 

The Game of Thrones actress and the musician began dating in November 2016 and were engaged less than a year later the following October. 

The wedding is legit — they obtained a marriage license earlier that day. 

E! News confirmed that the couple made the whole ceremony official, wedding license and all. The surprising turn of events caught fans off guard, and, honestly, it looked like so much fun. This couple is known for their silly antics, and as unexpected as the whole event was, it was also totally in line with the Jophie relationship. 

It was a busy night for the duo as one person on Twitter pointed out. 

As if performing at the BBMA wasn't enough, the musician and British actress celebrated the night in typical Vegas fashion: marriage in a little wedding chapel by an Elvis impersonator. Diplo posted a live video on his Instagram of the main event. 

Speechless just about sums it up, Dan and Shay. 

It may have been a Vegas wedding, but the celebrities still got to enjoy the perks of their stardom. Dan and Shay performed "Speechless" as Turner, in a white satin pantsuit and veil,  walked down the aisle toward her fiancé.  

Who needs diamonds when you have Ring Pops?

The laid-back attitude of the newlyweds is what makes them so #relatable. The couple posed for pictures with their symbols of commitment: Ring Pops. Fingers crossed we'll get more pictures from the wedding soon. 

All of the Jonas Brothers were in attendance plus their significant others, the "Jonas Sisters."

In one of the sweetest moments of the whole affair, Turner and her new sister-in-law Priyanka Chopra embraced after the couple said their vows. One very important guest was not in attendance, however, Turner's Game of Thrones on-screen sister and real-life best friend, Maisie Williams. 

A save the date was leaked for the couple's wedding earlier this year, and it had a very different location.

After this very fancy engraved box surfaced in a now-deleted post, fans speculated the date and location of the musician and GOT star's wedding. And, Vegas was definitely not on the docket. Jonas also told James Corden on his talk show that the two would be married in the summer, so it's entirely possible a more extravagant French affair is on the way — and hopefully Williams will be there. 

Playfully splashing your new wife while fully dressed in a pool is what Vegas wedding dreams are made of. 

When Jonas and Turner got engaged in November 2018, no one would have expected this. Here's to wishing the happy couple a lifetime of happiness. Congrats, Jophie!
