Unless you've been hibernating for the past few months, you're probably well aware that Lady Gaga has been totally winning at life.

She recently nabbed her first Oscar for Best Original Song — "Shallow" from A Star Is Born — meaning she's halfway to securing the prestigious EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony wins). And according to Harper's Bazaar, she made history by becoming the first person ever to win a BAFTA, an Oscar, a Golden Globe, and a Grammy in the same year.

Without a doubt, Gaga is having a moment. What she's not having, however, is a baby — at least not anytime soon. The superstar recently took to Twitter to directly address pregnancy rumors, and she did it in the most Gaga way possible.

So, what's Lady Gaga been up to lately?

Well, generally speaking, she's been dominating at pretty much everything. She starred in her first feature film — a little movie called A Star Is Born — and then proceeded to take home several awards for her portrayal as a struggling artist who gets discovered by a washed-up rock superstar (played by Bradley Cooper). The two performed the Oscar-winning song "Shallow" at this year's awards ceremony, which quickly set the internet on fire.

She's also in the middle of a two-year residency in Las Vegas.

Back in January, she and Cooper surprised the audience at one of her Vegas shows with an unplanned performance of "Shallow." The entire theater was loving it, and news of their performance immediately went viral. Gaga is slated to continue her residency through November 2019, so if you haven't caught a show for yourself, there's still time!

According to some tabloids, Gaga is also ... expecting?!

The rumor mill is spreading around gossip that Gaga is pregnant with either Cooper's child or the child of her ex-fiancé Christian Carino (they split up back in February, just a few weeks before the Oscars). Of course, this is the type of hearsay that Gaga is used to by now, considering she's been in the spotlight for the past decade.

On Tuesday, she set the record straight.

Gaga took to Twitter to make sure everyone is on the same page. "Rumors I’m pregnant? Yeah, I’m pregnant with #LG6," she wrote, suggesting that her next album is currently in the works. Her last studio album, Joanne, was released on October 21, 2016. So it's safe to say that the world is long overdue for some new Gaga music.

Just the mere glimmer of hope that Gaga will soon drop a new album had fans losing it.

According to Bustle, "There are some pretty exciting collabs in the works" for Gaga's next project, including Scottish producer SOPHIE. Out previously reported that Mark Ronson is set to team up with Gaga yet again after working with her on Joanne. But other than that, we don't know much about LG6 or when it will be released.

We. Cannot. Handle. This. News.

Because it's been nearly three years since Joanne, it makes sense that fans would be getting a little impatient for the next Gaga album. And they're understandably curious about what it will sound like — after all, we're talking about the ultimate chameleon. Last year, she told The New York Times that she is always transforming. “I do keep transforming into a new shell of me," she said.

The excitement is growing by the minute.

According to BuzzFeed, Gaga went a step beyond confirming that she's working on a new album. She just so happened to follow two interesting individuals on Instagram. "One was producer Bloodpop, who posted a screenshot of her tweet leading people to believe they're working together on LG6," the outlet reported.

There was also this ~major~ development.

BuzzFeed also pointed out that Gaga started following the one and only RIHANNA on Insta as well. Sound the alarms, folks! If this means that a Gaga-Rihanna collaboration is in the works, I don't know if the world is ready. That might be too many icons on one song, TBH. But at the same time, I AM SO HERE FOR IT.

The freakout has commenced, and it will not end until the new album is delivered.

But for now, she's probably due for some downtime considering the crazy-busy awards season she just had. “I just got rid of my place in New York — it was too hectic every day outside on the street,” she told Vogue last year. "I'm focusing on the things that I believe in. I'm challenging myself. I'm embarking on new territory — with some nerves and some overjoyment."

For now, we must be content with knowing so little about the next Gaga masterpiece.

"I hope that your pregnancy won't last years," one fan wrote. Someone else hypothesized that "it'll be nine months" until we get our first glimpse at LG6 (or whatever the album ends up getting named). No matter how long we have to be patient, there's no doubt that Gaga will deliver greatness that will make all of our waiting worth it.
