The passing of actor Luke Perry was a shocker to all of us, including the Riverdale cast. His impact left a lasting impression on his former castmates, and one of them was just visited by Perry during a dream. The touching moment had us holding back tears and sending love, as it's nearly been a year since Perry's passing.

There's no denying the impact that Luke Perry had on the world, his family, and his Riverdale castmates.

Perry who played Archie's dad, Fred, left a profound impact on his fellow actors when he passed away in March 2019 from a sudden stroke. The unexpected death shook fans of the show and Perry's long career. One of those people was Reinhart, one of his costars.

Now as we approach a year since Perry's passing, Reinhart recently shared that she saw Perry in a dream.

"I had a dream last night that I saw Luke," she said on Twitter. "And I hugged him so hard and cried into his shoulder, telling him how much we all miss him. Looking back on it this morning, I think his spirit was visiting me in my sleep, letting me know he’s smiling brightly on the other side."

Fans expressed an outpouring of support.

Fans said they're thinking of castmembers during this emotional time: "He is with you and all of us all the time, I don’t think enough people tell you guys this but as much as we complain and go crazy over the show we genuinely love and support the cast as people outside the show and all the hard work," one fan wrote.

The cast shared with the New York Post how difficult it was to shoot Perry's tribute episode.

“It was literally almost impossible to utter lines," said Skeet Ulrich, who plays F.P. Jones, Fred’s friend. "The emotion you try to bury from the four months prior to [Perry’s death] happening until we’re asked to reexamine it in the episode … it’s one of the hardest experiences I’d had [to do] on film.”

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Perry during the soon-to-be anniversary of his passing.
