Maisie Williams has grown up on-screen, literally. Watching each season of Game of Thrones is like looking through a (very gory) family photo album of the actor.

She's gone through different looks, both good and bad. She has kept steady friendships with castmates of the show — especially her onscreen sister, Sophie Turner

In nearly a decade, the star has grown both as an actor and person. We're lucky enough to have photographic evidence of all of it.

First of all, take a look at Williams' first day on the set of Game of Thrones.

Look at those crooked teeth, the spotty brows, and the adorable little shrug. This is the Arya Stark the North remembers. This 2017 post was a throwback to the star's first day on set in front of her trailer, and it's giving me all the feels as the final season comes to an end.

Now watch this video of the cutest clips of Williams filming Game of Thrones season one.

When she said her favorite part of the day was flicking food at "Sansa," I swooned. The 22-year-old reflected on her growth as an actor and what Arya means to her. She's come so far!

This look from the Game of Thrones season three premiere is adorable and yet oh-so cringey.

At 16 years old, Williams is in peak 2013 form. She's rocking an ensemble that would have the Faceless Men of the House of Black and White applauding.

In 2014 she fangirled over Ed Sheeran.

It's no secret that the actor has an obsession with the British songwriter, and in 2014 she met him for the first time. Three years later, she would go on to film a scene with him as Arya and get to hear him sing up close and personal.

Williams won an award for her work in the 2014 thriller The Falling

The actor rocked a playful off-the-shoulder red jumpsuit at the 2016 Evening British Standard Film Awards. She won the Most Promising Newcomer award and established herself as not only an actor for television but also for potential films too.

The friendship that began in 2011 was made mainstream by this iconic post.

In 2016 there was the iconic boob grab by bestie Sophie Turner that had the whole world stanning the duo's friendship. Both stars have expressed how much they mean to each other, and have kept one another grounded through the unbelievable level of stardom they've gained thanks to Game of Thrones

At the 2016 Emmy Awards, she showed up rocking a fresh new look.

We all have that phase where we get bangs, but it doesn't always work out. At 19, Williams didn't have that problem. She looked chic and cool in feathery bangs at the Emmy Awards, where she was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for Game of Thrones

August 7 is a big day for Williams and Turner — it's the day they were cast in Game of Thrones.

In honor of their friendship and their Game of Thrones casting anniversary, Williams posted a trio of selfies with Turner (one is a particularly heinous face swap — you're welcome). The date is so significant that they even decided to get matching tattoos of it together.

The duo appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone together this year, and Williams had a blunt pink bob.

2019 might be the biggest year yet for the Game of Thrones star. It's the final season, and the hype is real. She also debuted her new edgy bubblegum pink look on the front cover of Rolling Stone in March of this year.

The final season of Game of Thrones premiered this month, and we're so sad to see it go.

Williams posted a series of photos in honor of the Game of Thrones premiere, and I might have shed a single tear or 400. A decade of the actor's life was spent working on the series. While fans of the show will always remember her as Arya Stark of Winterfell, her career is nowhere near over.
