Meghan Markle might not actually be a princess by definition — princesses are royal by blood; Markle is therefore a duchess — but she's still the first-ever woman of color to be indicted into England's royal family. And that's huge.

Back in 2014, Markle clearly had no idea any of this would happen to her. How do we know? Because she openly blogged about it. Before having even met her literal Prince Charming, she wrote openly about wishing she were a Disney princess.

Little did she know, her royal fantasy would actually come true.

Oh yeah, Meghan Markle once wrote an entire blog post about fictional princesses and how she wanted to be one.

Long before becoming a royal, Markle operated a blog called The Tig — sadly, it's no longer running.

You know, because being a princess is a very busy job.

But according to People, Markle raved about princesses in a post all the way back in 2014.

That's two full years before she met and began dating Prince Harry.

Right? Isn't that just so charming and cute?

“Little girls dream of being princesses," she wrote, according to People. "I, for one, was all about She-Ra, Princess of Power.”

(This is She-Ra, by the way. Hell yeah.)

She even mentioned her future sister-in-law Kate Middleton, unbeknownst to her.

“Grown women seem to retain this childhood fantasy. Just look at the pomp and circumstance surrounding the royal wedding and endless conversation about Princess Kate.”

Of course, by "pomp and circumstance," she's referring to the press throwing a hullabaloo over Middleton's not having high-society roots.

Anyway, just imagine writing about something so seemingly impossible as becoming a princess and then just... doing it.

If only our old daydream blogs all became reality.

If that were true, we'd be sitting with our feet up in our high-rise offices, Miranda Priestly style.
