Markle took a fan's request to sign an autograph.

Caitlin Clark, 10, was the lucky recipient of the autograph. And when Meghan accidentally misspelled her name with a "K," Caitlin brushed it off. “I don’t really care,” she told reporters. “My heart is still racing. I’ve never got a royal autograph before. This is going to make everyone jealous.”

While Markle can (and does) interact with fans in some ways, signing autographs is highly discouraged.

The rule has reportedly been set in place for decades "because of the risk of the signature being forged."

When fans ask, the royals simply respond, "No, I can't," or "Sorry, I'm not allowed to," and probably take a selfie instead. (Not a bad deal, to be honest.)

In Markle's defense, she's most likely used to dealing with fans the same way she would when she was on "Suits."

No worries, Markle. Harry has definitely already forgiven you.
