Millie Bobby Brown is experimental in her style and is unafraid to switch up her hair for a role, obviously.

The Stranger Things star is slowly making the transition from television to film after starring in Godzilla: King of the Monsters earlier this summer. Now she'll be taking on an entirely different role from the action and thrillers fans are used to seeing her in.

The 15-year-old will take on the lead in a Sherlock Holmes spin-off based on Holmes' equally savvy younger sister Enola.

For her first major role, Brown completely shaved off her hair.

At the start of Stranger Things, the then 12-year-old was expected to chop off her long wavy hair, and she did so without batting an eye. Now she's an old pro at changing up her hairstyle to fit into a character. Brown posted this throwback photo shortly after the first season aired and wrote, "This is the day I shaved my head for the first time for #strangerthings #firstphoto #alteregojohn."

The young actor loves to feel glamorous and was killing it in these extra long extensions.

Surely, Brown would be happy to sport an extra-long length like she did for the Godzilla premiere. The actor and activist was absolutely feeling herself after getting the long look finished. "I luv this look v much...makin my hair dreams come truuuuuuue," she captioned these Instagram videos. Adding extensions is a much easier switch-up than a completely shaved head, so her look for Enola Holmes is going to be a breeze.

The totally new look has a regal Victorian vibe.

Brown captioned this first look at the character, "i love you enola #enolaholmes." The Victorian curls paired with the peasant-style blouse is a total nod to the Sherlock Holmes era. Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes' younger sister Enola is the star of this spin-off based on the 2006 book series The Enola Holmes Mysteries.

Henry Cavill and Helena Bonham Carter will also star in the upcoming movie.

Henry Cavill will play the iconic detective and Enola's brother, who often tries to step in and solve her mysteries for her. But Enola proves that she can outsmart even the wittiest detectives. Helena Bonham Carter will play Millie Bobby Brown's mother.

Cavill gave Brown a shout-out in his announcement on Instagram. He wrote, "Very excited to play a character as fantastic as Sherlock Holmes and very very fortunate to be working with Millie Bobby Brown! Millie, I will see you back in London soon sis! @MillieBobbyBrown #EnolaHolmes #SherlockHolmes."
