Normani had some of the most accurate Halloween costumes of the year.

The singer dressed up as two fellow icons, Cher and Naomi Campbell, both of which looked so spot-on. While most of her comments were messages of love and support after sharing her Cher costume on Instagram, one person wrote a totally rude and wrong response.

The commenter wrote that Normani shouldn't have dressed up as Cher, because Cher is white, which is just totally wrong on so many levels. Hailey Bieber stuck up for Normani and clapped back hardcore at the racist remarks.

Normani looked absolutely flawless as Cher this Halloween.

Normani dressed up as the iconic singer in her Prisoner album cover shoot. Cher wore a sparkling diamond bodysuit that draped over her in the most extra way possible, with fairy wings and a butterfly headpiece. The image from 1979 looks modern and fresh on the "Motivation" singer.

One person, however, thought she shouldn't dress up as Cher. Cue the eye rolls.

"I don't think this is the right costume for a black girl, Cher is white and Cher was thin … you could've done Beyonce or Rihanna or Janet but no Cher; Cher is white, respect her," the troll commented on Normani's photo.

The disrespectful comment was wrong on so many levels, the first of which is the straight-up racist tone. Normani dressed in a costume that totally resembled Cher, and there was nothing wrong with that. Luckily, Hailey Bieber was there to tell off the rude commenter.

"There is absolutely nothing wrong with Normani dressing up as Cher for Halloween," Bieber wrote. "What do you mean by the first sentence? She can do it because she wants to, she is doing much better than you, you're behind a computer complaining about a costume."

The model continued, "Stop being racist and get out of her page if you don't like it. It's 2019 and you're still supporting the garbage of Trump, Marta."

Regardless of what any one commenter had to say, her costume was totally on point.

Everybody else completely agreed that Normani killed this look. Normani even nailed the vibrant purple eye makeup. All of her famous friends and fans wrote loving messages of support, and the racist remark was deleted.

The stance, the background, the costume — all of it perfectly matched Cher's iconic look.

"Wow," commented Kylie Jenner. And Rowan Blanchard commented "Omg" twice. Plus, more than 580,000 people gave the photo a like, so I'd say the positives outweigh any negative comments anyone said.

Normani graced fans with two costumes this year, and also nailed a Naomi Campbell ensemble.

Normani loves a good throwback — just take a look at her "Motivation" music video if you don't believe me. So it makes sense that her two costumes this year were from totally different eras. The artist channeled the '90s in this double-take-inducing costume as supermodel Naomi Campbell.
