Paris Jackson is having quite the 2019. Her late father, Michael Jackson, has come under scrutiny after the release of a pretty cringe-worthy documentary, Leaving Neverland, in which two men accuse Michael Jackson of molesting them when they were children. While he was alive Michael repeatedly denied the allegations, but that has not stopped them from plaguing his legacy.
Paris vaguely addressed the situation on Twitter over a week ago. Now she is clearing the air once again about yet another serious subject concerning her well-being. Last week, reports circulated about Paris being admitted and then released from a hospital after a suicide attempt.
This isn't the first time she has been attached to suicide reports. In April 2018, Paris sought to shut down rumors that she attempted self-harm, which were seemingly started by her family. She publicly told them in an Instagram Story to call her directly as opposed to running to the press.
These alleged false alarms do follow Paris admitting to Rolling Stone magazine in January 2017 that she actually did attempt to end her life "multiple times." Now she seems to be in better spirits. Check out the video that shows her setting the record straight about her current state.
We are sending lots of light and good vibes to Paris as she navigates her personal life and the space she occupies in the public eye.
Note: If you or any of your loved ones are struggling with suicidal thoughts, you can always reach out to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline by calling 1-800-273-8255. They are available 24/7 by phone or online chat.
