The NYPD conducted a welfare check, and they discovered Davidson was at his job taping "SNL." Here's a play-by-play of the shocking ordeal.

"I really don't want to be on this earth anymore. I'm doing my best to stay here for you but I actually don't know how much longer I can last. All I've ever tried to do was help people. Just remember I told you so."

In since-deleted tweets, Grande revealed she went to Davidson's home. She also apologized for her "dumb joke." This possibly refers to the joke she made about Kanye and Drake's beef, which Kanye took as a slight to his mental health, and of which Davidson expressed support for Kanye.

According to People, the New York Police Department performed a welfare check. Davidson was already at "SNL" for work, but only briefly appeared in Saturday's episode.

Actor Jon Cryer also reported that Davidson was OK after attempts to contact him.

Many of Davidson's famous friends came to his support and care.

Some fans were sharing various hotlines to let others know they are loved and supported.

While Davidson's appearance was short and sweet, people were happy that the news was good news.
