Prince Harry doesn't need to try hard to live his best life. He's a royal, after all, with servants waiting on him hand and foot — literally. The sixth in line for the throne said "Bollocks!" to toxic masculinity by getting a pedicure at a very fancy hotel just because he can.
And when the ultra-traditional royals ditch outdated gender constructs, it's only a matter of time before it filters down to the rest of us. Here's why we want to plan a spa day with the prince.
The royal pedi did not come cheap.
Still, you're not going to find the Duke of Sussex at the local nail salon with the commoners. According to Page Six, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle enjoy regular couple's spa days at Coworth Park Hotel in Ascot, where a pedicure costs £60 (that's about $73 at the current exchange rate).
Prince Harry is also a self-proclaimed feminist.
Earlier in 2019, Prince Harry said that he is a feminist. "During a discussion about Tomorrow’s Women Wirral being a women’s only centre, Prince Harry, to our delight, declared ‘I’m a feminist’ and highlighted that it is equally important for men to support the movement in female empowerment!" reported Marie Claire.
Prince Harry also likes massages, ooh!
In news that excites the imagination, Prince Harry also enjoys massages. According to a source at Page Six, he gets "massages due to his polo injuries." Of course, Prince Harry is also allowed to simply enjoy getting massages because they are awesome and great.
It's about time guys embrace getting their feet done and generally getting pampered.
Taking care of your feet shouldn't be a gendered thing. Last time I checked, guys have feet too, and I can't tell you how icky it feels when calloused toes are rubbing on you during sexy time. C'mon, guys. Get over yourselves. Pedicures won't make you less of a man, but it will make your significant other breathe a sigh of relief. If Prince Harry can get over gender nonsense, so can anyone.
