It looks like Selena Gomez has something up her sleeve and it involves great hair and great music. The singer is preparing to drop some brand-new music, and she did so wearing some ultra-glam hair. The drop, however, is not coming without controversy, as the new song is allegedly shading her ex Justin Bieber.

Check out the hair, the song, and the drama ahead.

It looks like Selena Gomez has new music coming.

She teased it on her Instagram with photos from what appears to be a BTS shoot. And while we were looking forward to the new tunes, what we really couldn't get over was the hair. Donning a shag, the look was curled under for a style that looked so '70s chic. Talk about a dose of glam during the chaos.

And while we're fascinated with the hair, everyone else is a little more fascinated with who the song is about.

Allegedly, the song is going to include some serious shade to her ex Justin Bieber. "The deluxe version of Rare, featuring ‘Boyfriend,’ ‘She’ and ‘Souvenir,’ is out April 9th," Gomez wrote on Instagram. "You can presave it now and learn more about how to donate to the PLUS1 COVID-19 Fund in my bio."

But the Beliebers are hoping to knock it off the charts.

They're coming together to counter stream Gomez's song. "Selena Gomez is releasing a new song called boyfriend on April 9th and what we are gonna do is stream the hell out of Justin Bieber’s song Boyfriend on the same day to get it chart on itunes or wherever!" a fanpage tweeted. "RAISE AWARENESS TO THIS!! RT OR REPOST"

Regardless, everyone's looking forward to the song and video.

"OMG WHEN THESE WERE PICTURES OF SELENA BTS ON THE SET OF THE BOYFRIEND MUSIC VIDEO AHHHHHH WE WON I LOVE IT HERE," someone tweeted swooning over the BTS.

This is bound to get messy.

"Selena released a single titled 'boyfriend' which is already a Justin song + the song is literally just the 'steal our love' snippet from 2018 with Justin mumbling this b*tch is so petty sksks pleeaaaseee," someone tweeted.

We'll see how this all plays out.
