Rolling Stone interviewed the mysterious pop singer and song-writer, Sia. The Australian-born star is known for obscuring her face in duel-colored wigs. Even with mega hits like "Chandelier" and "Cheap Thrills," and a glowing resume having written for superstars like Beyonce, Adele, Rihanna, most people couldn't pick Sia out of a lineup. Make no mistake, Sia very prefers her anonymity. It means people leave her alone, but most of all that she can use dating apps like Tinder and Bumble.

Sia is Rolling Stone's cover star and the singer-songwriter dished on quite a bit about herself.

Sia is a force to be reckoned with. The pop singer has had major hits like "Cheap Thrills" and "Chandelier," not to mention all the artists she written hits for like Beyonce, Kanye, Adele and Rihanna.

Moreover, Sia proves women age like fine wine, being one a handful of women over 40 to have a number one single on the Billboard charts. Slay!

Nevertheless, Sia is just like us. She is looking for love and uses dating apps to do so.

Sia is on Tinder and Bumble. On the dating apps, she shows her face, although she typically conceals it on stage.

Sia has some pretty insightful reasons for obscuring her appearance.

"If anyone besides famous people knew what it was like to be a famous person, they would never want to be famous," Sia wrote in Billboard in 2013.

“I just wanted to have a private life. Once, as my friend was telling me they had cancer, someone came up and asked, in the middle of the conversation, if they could take a photograph with me. You get me? That’s enough, right?” She told the New York Times in 2014.

"You know I was at Target the other day buying a hose and nobody recognized me — and my song was on the radio," Sia told E!. "And I thought, OK, this experiment is working."

The fact that she isn't recognizable, means she can date freely. When dates ask who she is sometimes she responds cavalierly, “I’m actually also a pop star called Sia.”

“I went on a couple of dates, and they were nice,” says Sia, who grew up in Australia and resides in Los Angeles says. “It was very funny, and it was great practice. I’m trying to practice intimacy. ’Cause we don’t date in Australia. We just get together.”

“I probably go on two or three dates before I say, ‘Hmm, I don’t think this is my person,’ ” she said. “It’s an interesting process, dating at 42.”

Stars, they're just like us!

In case you're wondering: this is what Sia actually looks like!

Hard to believe someone as fierce as Sia looks like a normal person, but even queens are mere humans.
