For some people, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are one of those celebrity couples they just can't let go of. The two got together back in 2011, back when Gomez was a Disney Channel darling and Bieber was a babyfaced singer who wouldn't even dream of peeing in a restaurant mop bucket.

Of course, there are other people who think #Jelena is a nightmare ship that should be dead and buried. There was an audible sigh of relief from these folks when Selena Gomez embarked on a whirlwind makeout tour with The Weeknd all over Europe.

However, this past weekend showed there's still some life in the Selena Gomez/Justin Bieber relationship after all.

Bieber and Gomez were first spotted hanging out publicly last week in LA, with fans' hearts exploding at the news.

Apparently, it was a casual hang at Gomez's house with mutual friends. Sounds friendly enough, right?

But over the weekend, the two were spotted going to church together.... followed by a cozy one-on-one breakfast.

Again, the two exes could definitely just be friends. Church isn't exactly the sexiest activity. Allegedly, it's their love of church that's bringing them back together in the first place. But the fact that the two long-estranged exes have been spotted hanging out multiple times in a week is a little suspicious.

Of course, with all the news about the former couple hanging out, people have been speculating about how Gomez's current boyfriend, The Weeknd, is taking it.

Last week, E! News claimed the singer totally doesn't mind.

Jelena might have some passionate shippers, but Abelena has its fair share of ardent supporters.

The pair started officially dating back in January 2017, and were spotted engaging in PDA all over the world. They even attended events like the Met Gala together. A lot of people were happy to see Gomez so head-over-heels. After all, Gomez's songs have often alluded to the exhausting drama and turbulence of her on-and-off relationship with Bieber.

So, IS The Weeknd actually OK with his girlfriend hanging with her ex? If we're going by his social media activity... no.

Yup, he's allegedly unfollowed Francia Raisa, aka Selena Gomez's BFF who saved her life by donating a kidney. That seems like the type of person you would definitely not cut off if you were happy with your girlfriend.

He also allegedly unfollowed her mother, her assistant, and the parents of her godson.

He's still following Gomez herself, though, so there's that.

Some fans are ecstatic, convinced it means they broke up. They think Bieber and Gomez are meant to be together for well, ever.

They think this means their ship has officially risen (although nothing has been confirmed yet, including an Abelena breakup).

Others are horrifed, hoping Gomez works things out with The Weeknd.

They're convinced The Weeknd is the better option for their fave singer.

Still, at the end of the day, all we know for sure is that Bieber and Gomez are friendly. That's all.

Being friends with your ex does not equal getting back together with your ex. It's entirely possible to build a friendship with someone you once loved! If that's what's happening, that's super mature for everyone involved — including The Weeknd.

Gomez and The Weeknd may be totally fine. Or this social media activity may mean it's all over. Only time will tell...

UPDATE: PEOPLE reports multiple sources have confirmed Selena Gomez and The Weeknd have broken up. "'She and Abel have been going back and forth for a few months about their relationship,' says an insider. 'It’s been hard with him being on tour and her shooting in New York. That wasn’t easy on them," the website wrote. PEOPLE notes Gomez is not back together with Justin Bieber at this time, though.
