Hot off their press tour for Spiderman: Far From Home, Tom Holland and Zendaya are fending off relationship rumors left and right.

It's hard not to ship the duo when they are just so dang cute together. With everything from Instagram tags to double-team volunteering, the two have showcased their amazing chemistry both on and off screen. Now that their characters are about to come to terms with their feelings for each other in the upcoming movie, it's only a matter of time before the actors accept it too, right?

Despite all of the evidence that the two have dated or are currently dating, the denials coming from the could be-couple are too strong to ignore. To fans and shippers dismay, it looks like these two really are just friends.

Together they addressed dating rumors and how they affect their friendship.

In an interview with ET Canada, the two were asked about how fans' desire for their relationship to exist in real life affects them. The interviewer, Keshia Chante, asked, "Is it strange having so many people want that relationship to exist in real life?" Zendaya responded, "A little bit." And Holland agreed: "It's a little annoying, yeah." But Zendaya revealed that "it is what it is" and that the shipping comes with the territory of having chemistry on screen.

While fans have to accept the lack of a relationship between the stars of the movie, their characters further an adorably awkward romance in the Spider-Man sequel. The on-screen couple shared that they wanted to depict a classically awkward young love that Holland called "puppy love."

Tom Holland officially (tried to) shut down the rumors by revealing his relationship status to Elle

Holland told the magazine that he is not romantically linked to anyone at the moment, but casual dating is not for him. "I’m not the fleeting type at all; it’s not my way of life," he said. The young actor is far too busy working on eight upcoming projects to fully invest into a relationship at the moment. To fans disappointment, he and Zendaya are most likely just friends now – but shippers can certainly dream that they've had some romantic interaction in the past.

This strategically placed tag on Holland's Instagram post is pretty telling.

Zendaya expertly called out Holland for a less-than-discrete name placement on his Instagram post of the trio of besties including Jacob Batalon from the Spiderman films. Zendaya jokingly blamed the actor's lack of social media skills for the *lol* mistake, "I’m assuming because you don’t know how to work ig, that’s the reasoning behind my name placement."

He went back and edited the original post and included an embarrassed caption thanking his costar and rumored GF, "Disneyland with the ffh club. Thanks @zendaya for making me aware of my obvious blunder."

This adorable birthday post calling Holland a "loser" is totally something a girlfriend would do.

In this June 2018 video, Holland and Batalon play fight with toy lightsabers as Zendaya films and pokes fun at them. When Holland kicks at Batalon's light saber a little too aggressively the light goes out and it's clear he has broken the toy. The trio laugh it off in the birthday post Zendaya so lovingly captioned, "Happy birthday loser... @tomholland2013."

When they graced The Hollywood Reporter cover together nearly three years ago, shipping commenced.

Holland was Zendaya's light in the darkness that was November 2016. She posted this photo of the magazine cover she and Holland were featured on and captioned it, "Amidst all the chaos and sadness...this one good thing did happen to me today. Honored to share it with the very best...Spider-Man himself @tomholland2013 ???????? Thank you for this beautiful cover @THR (I'll post more tomorrow)."

In the feature it's clear the two got very close in the filming of the first Spider-Man movie. Apparently, Holland got nervous meeting Zendaya for the first time and recounted an awkward hug the duo shared upon meeting. All in all they only sang each other's praises.

They mimic each other's body language, which is a clear sign of true love, obviously.

In this October 2018 post celebrating wrapping up filming Spider-Man: Far From Home, the two posed side-by-side with arms crossed. "THATS A WRAP #farfromhome," Holland captioned the post.

According to an article by Inc. about body language and attraction, mirroring body language is something that people unconsciously do when they feel a bond with another person. This could be a sign that the two are closer than they let on.

The birthday posts just keep coming. Tom, you're not fooling anyone by calling Zendaya your "mate."

Tom Holland and Zendaya almost never miss a chance for a birthday post, and this silly photo of the two isn't fooling anyone. "Me, myself and the birthday girl. Happy birthday mate - keep killing it and paving the way for the rest of us ♥️," he posted on Zendaya's 22nd birthday in 2018. That little heart says it all.

At the 2018 Met Gala, the Spider-Man-star posted a picture of his "mate" in her red carpet attire.

Would a "mate" post a picture of you looking fierce on the red carpet and refer to you as a queen? Possibly, or it's another sign that the cute friendship actually means something more. "All hail the queen. Killing it mate," Holland wrote in regards to Zendaya's chainmail dress at the 2018 Met Gala. Of course, this post fueled the dating rumor fire.

One year before Spider-Man: Homecoming premiered, Holland posted this poolside Polaroid photo of he and Zendaya.

Relationship stans spotted this photo and coined the celebrity-couple name "Tomdaya" for the duo. This photo, posted nearly three years ago, was the first spark of their relationship rumors. "Summer Sunday's," Holland captioned. After seeing the two on-screen and their flirty relationship in interviews, it was impossible to deny their chemistry.

Together they shut down dating rumors in summer 2017.

Through all of the rumors the two have maintained that they are just "close." They have not confirmed that they dated at any point, and have shut down rumors on multiple occasions.

"Wait favorite is when it says we go on vacations together HA! I haven't been on a vacation in years!hbu @TomHolland1996 ???" Zendaya wrote on Twitter after an article stated that they stole away on secret vacations. Holland responded to her Tweet, "@Zendaya Does the press tour count."

I guess technically they were working, but that still counts as traveling together. Still not entirely convinced, Tomdaya.

We can't help but notice where the duo are sitting on this lovingly captioned photo...

In this 2017 press tour photo for Spider-Man: Homecoming, Holland captioned the loving post, "The love is real #spidermanhomecoming." Of course, he's eyeing his on-screen crush Liz (Laura Harrier), but take note of who he's sitting next to in the interview — Zendaya, of course.

Their chemistry during interviews and when they talk about one another is what has people claiming they are together. Not to mention that he has met her parents and they have been spotted leaving each other's homes late at night.

Take a look at this compilation of the stars' cutest moments, and tell me they're not flirting. You can't.

This near eight-minute long video takes us on a journey of the duo's flirty relationship. It includes clips from various interviews they've done together, that iconic dancing clip, and plenty of cute moments between the two.

While we may never get a relationship confirmation, Zendaya is extremely private in her dating life, we'll have to get by hoping these videos are a clear indication of their status.
