I can't help but to be overjoyed about Tracee Ellis Ross's continued success. As a black woman who grew up watching the big-haired beauty on television and the big screen, witnessing her continue to thrive decades later brings about so many emotions. In fact, it's as if whenever she wins, black women everywhere win.

So as she continues to take over, most notably in beauty with the official drop of her hair care line, Pattern Beauty, her triumphs are being celebrated by publications far and wide. Needless to say, when she announced that she would be the October 2019 cover girl for Essence, I wasn't surprised — I was truly ecstatic. Check out the pivotal spread and interview ahead.

Tracee Ellis Ross is the luckiest woman in the world right now.

The legendary actress is officially an authority in beauty with the recent launch of her hair care line, Pattern Beauty. The reaction to the news has been overwhelming both for Ross and even for fans: the brand's first release has been flying off digital shelves, with curly girls everywhere clamoring to get their hands on the drop.

And to add to her recent success, she's landed the October cover of Essence.

"ESSENCE OCTOBER 2019 COVER GIRL ~ thank you to the @essence team for allowing me to be on your cover for the 4th time! And especially this time as I celebrate this exciting new chapter in my life: being a CEO/founder and an executive producer. Essence has supported me in my career since the beginning. Thank you for being a space of celebration for all aspects of our diverse and beautiful community and legacy," she shared on her Instagram about the honor.

And she, of course, thanked her glam squad for those head-turning looks.

"COUTURE DREAM ~ being surrounded by such artistry on this @essence cover shoot was truly a treat for the senses. @luxurylaw you dreamt up a story of royalty and told it through couture. What a treat to finally get to play in clothes with you. The only thing more divine than your beautifully curated selection of couture was your gentle spirit and humility! @naivashaintl you really called forth the legacy of our hair! I mean, you made me a crown out of hair!! Come on!! Your work on this shoot is the definition of taking up space! @makeupbyvera7 thank you for creating a regal face with out much makeup. I love your touch. And thank you @essence!" Ross wrote about the immense chemistry the beauty squad shared.

Of course, hair was the mane attraction.

With Monday's launch of Pattern Beauty, the interview details Ross's relationship with her hair and why creating a line for curly girls is so near and dear to her heart. The interview, executed by Essence's Global Beauty Director Julee Wilson, is guaranteed to be a page-turner. "It has been 30 years in the trenches of my hair. Twenty years of dreaming. Ten years of trying, strategizing, and asking. Five years of continuing to learn. Four years with chemists, and 74 samples later, we’re here. I am launching a haircare line for curly, coily and tight, textured hair to empower people and meet the unmet needs of our community at a price point we can afford," she shared about the brand.

So if you haven't already, make sure you grab your Pattern Beauty ASAP.

The competitively priced and masterfully formulated products mark just the first of many launches for the brand. In fact, phase two, which will focus more on styling products, is already in the works. Needless to say, Ross and her more than two decades of planning is paying off in a major way.

What a moment this is.
