Who wore it best? JK, it's obviously me.

By now, you've probably seen this photo of Khloe Kardashian's hair blowing up your social feeds. While low ponytails are basically the hair equivalent of florals for spring — groundbreaking — the piled-on bobby pins were definitely something we were into.

So Team Revelist challenged their tame beauty editor — me — to put my own spin on this style. And I was like...

...but I totally rose to the challenge, because of course I did.

So follow the GIFs and learn how to rock the stacked bobby pin look.

Step 1: get your hairflip on.

You can be precise and set your deep part with a comb if you really want to, but it's not necessary. Don't forget to pose for a glamour shot afterwards.

YEAH.

Step 2: be shallow.

And by "the shallow side," I mean "the side of your part that has the least amount of hair on it." Use a flat paddle brush or a comb — NEVER a round brush. That will get stuck, and you will cry. If you're suffering from flyaways, blast this section with hard-hold hair spray and comb it through.

Step 3: gather your troops.

Your bobby pins are the key to this whole look, so pick good ones. I'm using super-shiny silver ones because they contrast nicely with my black hair, but do you. If you don't love the colors readily available at your drugstore, you can paint metal pins with nail polish pretty easily.

Step 4: pin it!

Technically you're meant to wear bobby pins with the wavy sides facing in towards your scalp, but I think that bumps-out is better for this look. Pop your pins in at regular intervals, making sure you secure it really well by the nape of your neck. Nobody wants their slicked-back hair falling out!

Step 5: work in multiples.

If you want to stack your pins really closely together like Koko, knock yourself out. I spaced mine about 1/4 of an inch apart so that you could see my hair between them, then adjusted them so that they were all even.

Step 6: BE FABULOUS.

You've done it! Your hair officially looks amazing, and you can make all the 2005 Charlize Theron references you want.

BYEEEEEEE! See you next time, guys!
