Now that Rihanna's done it, everyone's going to be ditching their long hair for a bob or lob. Why, you may ask? Well, a lob, (aka a “long bob”) provides length but doesn't leave you overheated.

Plus, there are so many different ways to wear the lob. Wear it wavy, straight, asymmetrical, with bangs, braids, or in a rainbow of colors — the possibilities are endless. And it works for everyone! Thanks to celebs such as Cardi B, Solange, Kylie Jenner, and Ashley Graham, who all have very different hair textures, we have evidence that truly any person can rock a lob.

Here are some of our favorite lobs to get you inspired.

Taylor Swift is basically the queen of the lob. Sometimes she goes for soft waves.

But not every lob has to be perfect. Check out TSwift's messy lob for the 2016 Met Gala.
