The 2019 Golden Globe Awards had no shortage of excitement. From big winners to powerful speeches to dynamic hosts, this year's lineup was quite the kickoff to awards season. And while many heads were turning at the sight of Lady Gaga's blue hair, or Jamie Lee Curtis' new icy blonde ’do, we were entranced by the beautiful natural hair gracing the red carpet.
Dreads, braids, twists, and afros were in full swing, revealing the real winners of the star-studded evening. Here are a few of our favorites and the brilliant hairstylists who made it happen.

Nai'vasha used all DevaCurl products to create Newton's tousled curls.
She applied DevaCurl’s Super Stretch Coconut Curl Elongator to wet strands ensuring thorough coverage. She then separated hair into four sections to ensure product is evenly distributed. To create voluminous and loose curls, she massaged a small amount of DevaCurl SuperCream into the palm of her hands and scrunched hair from ends to roots with SuperCream while diffusing with the DevaCurl DevaDryer and DevaFuser.
