After a six-month hiatus, Amanda Bynes returned to Twitter on February 14 to address pregnancy and engagement rumors.

The former child star decided to re-emerge on social media after she discovered an unverified Twitter handle @persianla27 was impersonating her.

The account — which has 25,000 followers — allegedly posted (then deleted) tweets about Bynes being pregnant and engaged.

"Happy Valentines Day! At the gynos office with Matt to see if I am indeed pregnant!" the account wrote, pretending to be Bynes. "The home test says I am but I need a 2nd opinion!!"

But Bynes quickly called out the imposter and shut down the rumors in a simple tweet.

"I am not @persianla27. I am not getting married and I am not pregnant," Bynes informed her 3.3 million followers.

She then called out Twitter for its lack of support: "I don't understand why twitter won't take @persianla27 down," Bynes added.

Although the offending tweets are now deleted, the actress claims the account had been impersonating and harassing her for a while.

At the time of the tweets, the account reportedly used a photo of Bynes as its profile picture, and an earlier tweet from the account featured a photo of what appeared to be Bynes' California identification card.

"It is ME! Authentic. Often imitated but never duplicated!" the user wrote. "I refuse to be silenced. My friends know how to reach me!"

However, the user later denied knowing Bynes and changed her Twitter name to "Ashley Banks."

Bynes hasn't made any additional comments.

Although she briefly returned to Twitter in August to touch base with fans, Bynes had been on a self-imposed Twitter hiatus as she focuses on her health following a rehab stint (the actress was placed under psychiatric hold in 2014).

She was most recently spotted grabbing lunch in California, looking happy and healthy.

As Bynes continues to recover, the last thing she needs is a social media imposter giving her a hard time.

Mental illness is not a joke. Good for Bynes for calling out her troll and putting her harassers in their place.
