Well, everyone, he's baaaaack. Robbie Tripp, otherwise known as "Curvy Wife Guy" (I know, I know), has just come out with a new music video. The title? The sort of cringe-y "Chubby Sexy."

You may recall Tripp from his Instagram post that went viral back in August 2017. He essentially wrote an essay about how much he loves his wife’s body and curvy women overall. Some viewed his sentiments as positive, while others found his perspective to be quite problematic. After all, he was kinda using his wife to get validation that he’s a good feminist, and that definitely defeats the purpose of being a feminist.

At any rate, the criticism hasn't fazed Tripp or, so it seems, his wife, Sarah. In fact, they're expecting a baby in October

This is Robbie Tripp, aka Curvy Wife Guy.

He's — how should we put this — just a tad bit insufferable. There are many reasons for his insufferableness, but for starters, how about this gem of an Instagram caption:

"We fly first class to New York City a few times a year. We hustle. We network. We make deals. We eat at cool restaurants in Manhattan. We buy designer goods on Madison Ave. Then we return home to the desert where we belong. The grind continues."

Um, cool story, bro.

But he's also insufferable because of this now-infamous Insta post.

Tripp went on a lengthy monologue about how much he loves his wife and her curvy body.

"As a teenager, I was often teased by my friends for my attraction to girls on the thicker side, ones who were shorter and curvier, girls that the average (basic) bro might refer to as 'chubby' or even 'fat,'" he wrote. "Then, as I became a man and started to educate myself on issues such as feminism and how the media marginalizes women by portraying a very narrow and very specific standard of beauty (thin, tall, lean), I realized how many men have bought into that lie."

Reactions to his post were... mixed.

Some people thought he was being positive and that it was a nice gesture. Others thought that the whole thing was a little, well, cringe-y.

And I mean, where to start? He said some things that were downright weird. "Her shape and size won't be the one featured on the cover of Cosmopolitan, but it's the one featured in my life and in my heart," he wrote. Is it just me, or does that... not really sound like a compliment?

The internet properly roasted him.

Tess Holliday was particularly outspoken about Tripp's post.

"The bar is set so low for men these days," she tweeted after it went viral. "You want a medal for dating a 'curvy' girl? Get the f*ck outta here."

Many people shared Holliday's feelings. They argued that Tripp was getting praised for being in a relationship with a curvy girl, yet when curvy girls try to love themselves, they often receive a dramatically different response.

You may be wondering: What's Curvy Wife Guy up to these days?

Well, for starters, the lovebirds are still together. And they are welcoming a baby this October. What may be more unexpected, though, is that Tripp is dipping his toes into the music industry.

“I know there will be more positivity than negativity, but the negativity just seems louder,” Sarah recently told Vox in a new interview, referencing her husband's new song.

So what's this new tune called?

"Chubby Sexy," and the lyrics are something, to say the least:

My girl chubby sexy, call her bonita gordita
She rockin’ that peach emoji like hey, nice to meet ya
She got thick thighs, stretch marks, big booty
She lookin’ like a snack, I take her out to eat

She fills up her plate, not trippin’ ’bout her weight
Got those Khaleesi curves, knows how to dragon slay
Her inner thighs chafe, she knows how they taste
They say less is more, I say more is great
She got a waist so big that her belt can’t reach
So I call her James and the Giant Peach

Yet again, Tripp insists that he's all about spreading positivity.

He wrote on Instagram ahead of the music video's release: "Excited to finally reveal the title and single art for my body positive anthem dropping everywhere tomorrow, Friday, 5/24!!! This song, inspired by my forever queen @sassyredlipstick, was created to celebrate all the curvy women around the world who aren’t afraid to toss off their swimsuit coverups and rock their confidence by the pool all summer long!!!"

But he didn't stop there.

"To all the curvy ladies out there with stretch marks, thick thighs, and big booty: You are sexy, you are fierce, and you are enough," he wrote. "THIS ONE IS FOR YOU!! TIME TO THROW ON THAT CHEEKY BIKINI AND CRANK THE VOLUME UP TO 11 THIS WEEKEND! GET READY FOR THE ANTHEM!!!"

Alright, dude, we get it.

As for the video itself, well, we'll leave that up to you to decide.

Just like with Tripp's original Insta post that went viral more than two years ago, some people may be into this, and others not so much.

"We’re trying to destigmatize these things that people thought should be hidden or are ugly," Sarah told Vox. As for being called "gordita," which means "fatty" in Spanish, she says it's all fun and games. “It’s an endearing term for ‘chubby cute’!”

According to Tripp, he's not paying attention to the "haters."

|| I LOVE CURVY WOMEN AND CURVY WOMEN LOVE ME. ???????????????????? Enjoy these behind-the-scenes shots from my big music video shoot this weekend and then prepare for me to light the internet on fire when I decide to drop this thing. ???????????? My DMs exploded yesterday with everyone wanting to know more about this project, so here’s the backstory: Last year I felt my creative winds pushing me in a musical direction for the first time in years. I wanted to create a body positive summer anthem for curvy women that would inspire them to rock their stretch marks, thick thighs, and big booty at the pool with confidence. I wanted to create something fun and sexy that celebrated fierce curvy women while, most importantly, carrying an empowering message. So I did what I do best: I put pen to paper and I started grinding to make my vision a reality. In the six months that followed, I found an incredibly talented unknown producer who made me the most catchy beat you’ll hear all summer, I randomly got connected with a big time record producer/engineer in LA and recorded the track in his studio, and then once I had the final song, I went to work on the music video. ???? This weekend it all came together and I couldn’t be more proud of every person who was on set to help my vision come to life. I was surrounded by the most inspiring group of people who truly bought into my mission with this song/video and they all CRUSHED IT. ???????????? Thanks to @iamjesserichards for being the magic man behind the camera, @influencerhusband for being the most overqualified production assistant ever and capturing the golden moments behind the scenes, and of course the models: @alexandriabowie, @xoxodeminyx, and @_taylorpeer. Go follow them! All certified curvy queens with hearts of gold. And of course, none of this would be possible without my muse, my inspiration, my goddess, my baby mama @sassyredlipstick. ???? The internet isn’t ready for what’s coming. Tag a friend if you can’t wait to hear this curvy girl anthem!! I’ll share a clip of the song if this post hits 1,000 comments. ???????? UPDATE: 1K COMMENTS! WOW! Exclusive sneak preview now posted on my feed!!! ||

And he told Vox that he thinks even his critics will be won over by "Chubby Sexy."

“I have a strong feeling this is going to change things," he explained to the publication.

It's certainly too soon to make a call on that, but what we can confirm is that this latest project of his is just about as cringeworthy as we'd expect it to be.
