Dolly Parton has a social media challenge

Dolly Parton is quite the trendsetter –– and this time it's on the internet.

The country music star recently launched a viral meme, whether she meant to or not. It's been nicknamed the Dolly Parton Challenge and involves selecting four photos of oneself that symbolize four different styles of popular social media platforms.

In Parton's initial Instagram post, she included four photos of herself as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Tinder. It took off, and thousands of celebrities and accounts have copied her meme. These are the best ones.

Dolly Parton started something that blew up tremendously.

Parton casually posted this brilliant series of photos that sparked a major social media trend. "Get you a woman who can do it all," she captioned coyly. All of her four categories match her personality perfectly.

I love a good cat meme.

My personal favorite is from Insta-famous cat account Cole and Marmalade. The lovable kitties posed for their own four photos, and Marmalade's personality synced up with the vibe of the sites perfectly.

Billy Porter knew exactly how to make this work.

Who wouldn't use a photo with Obama as their LinkedIn profile photo? He chose his artsiest photo for Instagram, appropriately, and his most family-friendly for Facebook. Plus, I don't know who wouldn't want to swipe right on that steamy Grindr photo.

Each of the Golden Girls fits one of these molds perfectly.

The adorable Rose (Betty White) fits the Instagram personality so well. Dorothy (Bea Arthur) has traditional values that fit with LinkedIn, Sophia (Estelle Getty) is goofy and spontaneous, perfect for Facebook, and Blanche (Rue McClanahan) is a little bit promiscuous, as one might be on Tinder.

Jared Leto hopped on the bandwagon, too.

How did Jared Leto encapsulate each of these four personality types so perfectly? From the puppy photos on Facebook to the artsy, model shot for Instagram, these are on point. Plus, his Tinder profile picture is literally making me sweat.

OK, Elvira! You've got this down.

Goth queen Elvira somehow made each of her similar looks feel very different. She tweeted, "When I heard there was a @DollyParton challenge, I was thinking somethin’ TOTALLY different than this. But ...ya know, this is good, too. #dollypartonchallenge."

The always trendy Kelly Clarkson got in on the popular hashtag.

Kelly Clarkson looked adorable in her four photos and not too scandalous on Tinder either. The mom-of-two had a perfect picture for her family-friendly Facebook post. "When you can serve both '9 to 5' and 'Jolene,'" she tweeted from her show's Twitter account.

Oprah, surprisingly, isn't only a LinkedIn profile.

Oprah managed to capture a personality type for each of these social media accounts, too, even though I'd say she has the LinkedIn type down the best. Oprah is an inspirational business woman, but managed to get in on all of the accounts.

Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana has a variety of emotions.

Miley Cyrus posted two challenges in honor of her godmother, Dolly Parton. One of which was of herself and the other was of her teenage alter ego, Hannah Montana. The Hannah Montana ones were so adorable and hilarious.

Of course Chrissy Teigen had to add her favorite social media platform, Twitter, to her lineup.

While most people stuck with the four sites that Dolly chose, Teigen had to amend it a bit to fit her style. The social media maven is best known for her outspoken tweets, and her post reflected her uninhibited personality. And that's what we love best about her.
