Goth queens, rejoice: indie makeup brand Rituel de Fille is dropping a brand new highlighter that is literally as dark as your soul.
This "anti-highlighter" is a rich eggplant purple that will transform your beauty game with literal dark magic.
Per the brand, "Eclipse is a black blush, contour, cream eyeshadow and lipstick in one remarkable shade. Worn sheer, Eclipse appears as a subtle aubergine, lending a cool-toned tint to the cheeks, lips or eyes. But the shadows deepen in a bolder application, with the color building up to a rich, dimensional black."
You may THINK a black highlighter is a bit of a niche product — but it's surprisingly useful.
You'll be able to layer this rich black pigment over lipsticks to deepen and cool them down, or layer it over eye shadows to add non-sticky shine. And yes — you CAN wear it on your cheeks. Eclipse will give the most gorgeous, dewy color to deeper skin tones, as well as adding shadow and contour to lighter complexions.
Truly, the sky is the limit here.
Eclipse is the first Creme Pigment in Rituel's Inner Glow lineup.
I do not always love a cream blush, but I am severely into RDF's Inner Glow line — they're so blendable and beautiful (my favorite shade is Frenzy, fyi ($24, Rituel de Fille). The Creme Blushes have a dewy finish, while the Eclipse Creme Pigment will have a "dewy matte" finish — I can't wait to see what that looks like.
But alas, you will have to wait — this goth queen highlighter doesn't launch until April 5.
But, good news — you can pre-order it right now! Head to Rituel de Fille's site to be among the first to get your hands on this dark magic dream.
So grab yr coven and get ready to glow like the dark side of the moon.
This is literal magic in a compact. Is it April yet?
