If you're like me, you think there's nothing sadder than when your favorite makeup runs out. Once you find something with the right shade range and gorgeous packing, you just wish they would last forever!
Of course, there ARE options if you just can't bear to part with your favorite palettes. Rather than creating a makeup shrine in a cramped apartment, a very talented makeup artist has found a more beautiful solution. Illustrator Dakota Scarlett has created drawings based on the most popular makeup and skin care products.
Just look at this recreation of Too Faced's Love Light highlighters!
Scarlett's illustrations of makeup products have been featured in British Vogue, Seventeen, Allure, and more. Plus, she's worked with an impressive list of beauty brands including Kat Von D Beauty, Milk Makeup, and Too Faced cosmetics.
The beauty-lover developed her knowledge by reading magazines and always had "a love of makeup and the art involved in it," she said on her website. She merged the two together to create these beautiful pieces any makeup fanatic would drool over.
Love the shading on the brushes for the Tarte Cosmetics mermaid collection!
If you're still saving up for the Too Faced Life's a Festival collection, put this on your inspiration board.
Your Naked Heat palette can remain completely perfect forever and ever thanks to this artwork.
This Kylie Cosmetics Eye of the Storm palette illustration almost looks real!
If you couldn't get the Fenty highlighter at Sephora, then you can always stare at this recreation.
Who doesn't wish they owned this much Milk Makeup?
She immortalizes skin care items too, like this Glossier Exfoliating Skin Perfector.
Don't we all wish our haircare looked this neat?
