Anne Hathaway is allegedly in talks to replace Amy Schumer as the lead in the upcoming live-action "Barbie" movie, Us Weekly reports.
But rather than tear Hathaway down, Schumer had no unkind words for her replacement.
In an Instagram post, Amy Schumer congratulated Hathaway in the most Amy Schumer way possible.
"Hathaway smathaway jkjk she's perfect!! Can't wait to see it!" the "Inside Amy Schumer" creator joked.
Schumer had previously said that due to "scheduling conflicts" she was unable to commit to "Barbie."
"The film has so much promise, and Sony and Mattel have been great partners. I'm bummed, but look forward to seeing Barbie on the big screen," she said in an interview with Variety.
Schumer currently has three movies in the works, according to IMDb: "I Feel Pretty," "Thank You for Your Service," and "She Came to Me."
