The Ultimate Christmas Present
This classic Disney Channel original movie is nearly two decades old. The movie first aired on the network in 2000, and it's about two girls in California who find a weather machine. Having never experienced a snow day, they manipulate the weather to turn sunny Los Angeles into a blizzard-ridden snow town.
Anna Kendrick plays Santa's daughter, Noelle, and Bill Hader plays his son, Nick, who will one day take over the family business and become Santa Claus. Noelle is frustrated, because she knows she could do the job much better than her hapless brother. When she suggests he take a vacation before the holiday season, Nick never returns, so a rescue mission ensues.
No Christmas would be complete without a Home Alone viewing. Macaulay Culkin stars as the adorable and mischievous Kevin who is left behind when his giant family take a trip for the holidays. He holds down the fort when robbers come into his house and he sets hilarious booby traps throughout the place.
Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas
This movie takes place during the events of Beauty and the Beast but tells the story of Belle's first Christmas as a prisoner in Beast's castle. Luckily, it's at a point in their relationship in which they are becoming friends, but unfortunately, Beast isn't the only villain on the castle grounds. An enchanted organ named Forte plans to take over if Belle doesn't save the day.
The Nightmare Before Christmas
Every October through December, fans of this Tim Burton classic get an excuse to binge-watch to their heart's content. The ongoing debate of whether this is a Halloween or a Christmas movie can be easily settled by calling it both. Who wouldn't want to watch Jack Skellington take over Santa's job over and over again?
A Christmas Carol
An updated twist on Charles Dickens' classic story of Ebenezer Scrooge, Jim Carrey plays the crotchety old man. The animated retelling is visually stunning and sticks close to the original tale.
The Muppet Christmas Carol
Jim Carrey's version is far from the only Christmas Carol available on Disney+. Not only is there the Mickey Mouse version on the service, but there's also The Muppets' take. Kermit the Frog plays Scrooge this time, which is a totally different character than the happy-go-lucky frog puppet he usually plays.
