It's been 12 years since we last saw Bridget Jones (Renée Zellweger) struggle to find balance in her work and personal life, but as evidenced by the trailer for the upcoming threequel "Bridget Jones's Baby," not much has changed since 2004's "Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason." (Minus portions of Zellweger's face and her shrinking waistline, that is, but the last thing we want here at Revelist is to jump on that shitty bandwagon.)
"Bridget Jones's Baby" finds Bridge suddenly single after her relationship with the dreamy Mark Darcy (Colin Firth) somehow went south, but lucky for her, there's a new [Mc]dreamy suitor (played by "Grey's Anatomy" alum Patrick Dempsey) to help ease that terrible burden. Only problem is, there's also a baby on the way! And no one knows who the father is!

Tbqh, I am 100 percent on board for this movie even if it's as bad as "Edge of Reason," because Bridget Jones is my jam. I'm also intrigued by this report that claims that multiple endings were filmed, so that all three actors would be kept in the dark as to the father's true identity until they see the premiere. Why not?!
