As you know, Disney is remaking all of their classic animated films with real humans. After the success of "Beauty and the Beast" with IRL Emma Watson, they started reimagining all their other films in live action format: "Dumbo," "The Lion King," "Aladdin," and more — all set to arrive in theaters next year. It may be a long wait until the film's release, but as of Thursday night, we just got our first look at the live-action version of "Aladdin" and I must say, it's pretty magical.

Will Smith, who plays Genie, posted the first official poster for the film yesterday, teasing its May 2019 release date.

LEMME OUT!! ???? Can’t wait for y’all to see Me BLUE! :-) #aladdin

He had a pretty excellent caption under it: LEMME OUT!

Obviously, the poster just wasn't enough, so Disney decided to drop the first teaser trailer for the film the next day. And it's as magical as a carpet ride.

Our nostalgia levels are through the roof. It's an 'indescribable feeling.'

It begins by scanning the sprawling desert sand, with breathtaking views of the golden oasis, Agrabah, in the background. They're truly 'unbelievable sights' (sorry).

One of your favorite animal companions makes an appearance in the trailer, flying over the city to the tune of "Arabian Nights." It's Iago — Jafar's sarcastic, loud-mouthed parrot!

Iago leads us to the Cave of Wonders — a.k.a. the lion head with the deep, creepy voice. If you recall, inside this mysterious realm is where Aladdin finds the Genie's lamp.

"Only one may enter here," it says, as a shadowy figure enters. "One whose worth lies far within. A diamond in the rough." It’s none other than Aladdin!

Your favorite rags-to-riches prince, Aladdin, is played by Egyptian-born Canadian actor Mena Massoud, BTW.

Unfortunately, no other characters make an appearance in the teaser trailer. So, we'll have to wait for the first official trailer to see Will Smith's Genie, Naomi Scott's Jasmine, or Marwan Kenzari’s new hot Jafar.

Find out how the live-action "Aladdin" compares to the epic 1992 original when it hits theaters on May 24, 2019.

Until then, join me in singing along to some of the iconic music from the movie.
