Long before the Demogorgon slithered in from the Upside-Down, the world feared a reptilian monster that wreaked havoc on big cities.
Godzilla has been reimagined 100 times over, but the 2014 film is finally getting its long-awaited sequel "Godzilla: King Of Monsters," and our favorite 12-year-old badass is set to take him head on.
Millie Bobby Brown (aka Eleven) of "Stranger Things" fame was the first cast member to be announced for the revival.
There is no official word of the return of the 2014 cast, which included Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, and Bryan Cranston.
The sequel is also a follow-up to Brie Larson and Tom Hiddleston's "Kong: Skull Island" (March 10, 2017), as it will eventually lead to a "Kong vs. Godzilla" in 2020.
We can't wait to watch Millie take on this classic monster...
...and we hope that Godzilla has seen what she did to that Demogorgon (and Mike's bullies), for his sake.
