The Parent Trap

Lindsay Lohan stars as long-lost twins Hallie Parker and Annie James, who reconnect at sleepaway camp. The two discover that their parents never remarried and concoct a scheme to get them back together. The London native Annie and the California-bred Hallie will trade places, which causes their families to reunite in an unexpected way.

Boy Meets World

Get the kids in the family hooked early on this classic teen sitcom. Every episode is available on the streaming service from both the original series and the reboot Girl Meets World, which most Disney Channel–aged kids probably already know about. Danielle Fishel, who played Topanga in the '90s series, shared a throwback shot with the cast that delivered all of the nostalgic feels.

"All seven seasons of #boymeetsworld are now available on @disneyplus so please enjoy this throwback photo of the four amigos. I should really turn this into a T-shirt," she wrote.

Think of this Robin Williams '90s film as a comedy version of Benjamin Button. Williams plays Jack, a 10-year-old kid who ages faster than normal and is attending the fifth grade in the body of a 40-year-old man. Williams brings a sense of humor and charm to the character while keeping the bizarre plot authentic.

Sister Act

Lounge singer Deloris Van Cartier (Whoopi Goldberg) witnesses a mob crime and enters the witness protection program as a nun. The lively showgirl brings the gift of music to the sisters and the students of the rundown Catholic school where they teach. With plenty of music and throwback moments, this will be entertaining for all ages.

The Simpsons

The clever animated series has a few inappropriate moments, but most will go over young kids' heads. What won't is the slapstick humor. Plus, parents can get a kick out of the witty commentary about the world and culture in real-time.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit

A perfect blend of animation and real-life, Who Framed Roger Rabbit is another classic that no family should miss. Kids will become enamored by the mix of cartoon characters and human ones.

Adventures in Babysitting

Adventures in Babysitting is a classic '80s movie that was recently remade in 2016. Show the younger generation, who may recognize the name as a recent Disney Channel Original Movie, the original crime-filled heist movie. In the update, which is also on the platform, the plot got a bit of a change and features two rival babysitters, played by Sofia Carson and Sabrina Carpenter.

Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey

Talking house pets should be convincing enough to check out this heartfelt, family-friendly movie. Two dogs and a cat take a trip to the mountains and end up getting lost trying to make their way home to their owners. The film is thrilling and filled with adventure, while also having humor and heart revolving around three clever pets. It will definitely make you want to give your dog or cat a hug.
